Very, if you like point and clicks I'd recommend it outright. it's not as challenging as most old school adventures/point and clicks but it's story is incredible along with voice work. Finished episode 3 of 5 the other night, nearly cried.
User avatar #4 to #3 - badgertime (07/14/2013) [-]
i better get it.

I got fallout new vegas/3 GOTY's, FTL, Terarria, Bioshock 1 and 2, dragon age origins, GTA 4 bundle, and skyrim legendary edition.
The twist? I have played and beaten most of them before, re-buying just to mod and/or nostalgia.
I regret nothing.

If you were to gift me Terraria, I would be the world's most grateful indie game fan.

Two words that ended the entire Money Galaxies. Two words that drained the life of entire Golden Worlds. Two words that turned entire days into long, long nights for many years for many Wallet Worlds. Two words that bombarded entire continents filled with Coin Cities, until nothing but ashes remained. Two words that eradicate entire species, and turned rich to poor. TWO words, my friends, even the most feared Galactic Bank Corporations trembles under, and flee in terror. Two words uttered that brings the greatest despair to the most famed Bank Defenders. Two words that eroded the famed iron will of Wallet Warriors so easily as though as they were but little babes pissing themselves before the great giants. Two words… Master of the Lure, Devourer of the Golden Galaxies, Destroyer of Wallet Worlds, Annihilator of entire Wallatian Armies and Fleets, Greedy King and Manipulator of desires. Two words… Steam Sales.

>Borderlands

Maximum casual scum.
#78 to #56 - Rascal (07/15/2013) [-]
If you have 3 games to choose from and you pick Skyrim, Portal 2 and Borderlands its like answering Nickelback, Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj when asked about your favourite bands. Not exactly bad, but it shows you aren't very familiar with the subject.
#81 to #78 - taintedangel (07/15/2013) [-]
I know good games when i see them, and 2 of those games were good.

You give off the impression of "Hurr durr mainstream games suck! hurr durr." Grow the **** up anon.
#82 to #81 - Rascal (07/15/2013) [-]
"My opinion is fact" - You

All 3 of those were decent, but are vastly overrated by 'le arrow to le knee' and 'le cake is a lie' kiddies.
User avatar #83 to #82 - taintedangel (07/15/2013) [-]
...uh, of course there are gonna be some mongoloid fans who spout memes from some of the top franchizes. If you can't ignore them, then I feel sorry for you. Also, log in and post.
#84 to #83 - Rascal (07/15/2013) [-]
I can ignore them. I just dislike people that act as if games like Skyrim are without issues or without room for improvement. I don't say those games aren't good, I am saying they are overrated.

I don't have an account, sorry.

We get it, Steam is having it's annual summer sale and we're giving it's co-owner all of the credit.

I personally do not own a Steam account and therefore do not understand this hubbub about Steam sales. Would someone be so kind as to explain what they are about?

People feel like they will play the game someday because of it being on sale, so people spend all their money on games they won't play
User avatar #63 to #61 - blastwavegaming (07/15/2013) [-]
Imagine like 4 $60 dollar games are cut down to the price of $10 each. Except of just buying them you also buy every other thing on the sale and never play any of them.
#73 to #61 - Rascal (07/15/2013) [-]
go to steam yourself and look, you don't need the client to see the deals.
#74 to #61 - xsolicitedsilkx (07/15/2013) [-]
Put it like this, you know the games you see and want to play? Don't worry about paying full price. Wait for a steam sale, and then there are crazy goodies you can snag. I have a thing with my friends, where every so often, if a steam sale comes up, we'll buy each other the games we wanted for a while, or snag extra copies to gift/trade with others for the stuff we do want if it's not already on sale.

I got giftraped within the last three days, with an absurd amount of games. Including BL2 with some DLC, Dark Souls, etc. Steam account, you should totally get one.
