I love people who argue Batman could ever win when:
> Superman has beaten villains MADE of Kryptonite.
> Kryptonite isn't deadly, it drains their powers - and it takes time unless it's perfect. Except gold kryptonite (or pink which turns you gay) - which takes away your powers forever. Which Superman has recovered from.
> Superman has been turned into a dragon by another kind of kryptonite. A ******* dragon.
> Superman can go into the center of the sun and come out strong enough to move planets. There was a comic where Superman literally went God mode.
> Superman can turn back time.
> Superman has faught Batman a few times in Canon - killing Batman.
> The only Superhero I've known to beat Superman is the Flash.
User avatar #292 to #109 - demjimmies ONLINE (07/14/2013) [-]
LOL no.

Shazam can beat Superman with magic.

Martian Manhunter is as strong as Superman, and can shut him down telepathically.

Captain Atom can make red sun radiation and rape his dick.

Superman vs Batman: Top 10 Reasons Superman Wins!

Batman is always prepared.
User avatar #4 to #1 - darkseidrules (07/14/2013) [-]
Actually, it's always Batman. He's rehearsed a bunch of situations in which he would need to kill Superman and the very back pocket of his utility belt is a piece of kryptonite (or a kryptonite bullet) given to him by Superman just in case he needs to be stopped. This is largely accepted as cannon by most comic fans. I'm not even a Batman guy and this is pretty much the facts of the matter.

Bro, I'm telling you this for your own good so that you can keep your sanity intact.

Don't argue with Batman fanboys that have basically only watched the Dark Knight/read fan-made comics where Batman wins. Also watch out for "Batman is genius and always has a plan ready" and "Batman has kryptonite with him at all times." Anyone who has done any research knows that Superman is smarter than Batman but just doesn't use his intellect the same way to plan everything because he just doesn't need to, Superman has defeated Batman who was taken over by kryptonite man(meaning he defeated a Batman made completely out of kryptonite), and that Batman himself has admitted that if Superman really wanted him dead then he would be dead.
User avatar #279 to #135 - darkseidrules (07/14/2013) [-]
There is so much of me right now that wants to rip into you for calling me a batman fan boy and a casual, but I'm not going to. I admitted that I am not a Batman guy and I'll admit, I might be wrong. I'm just going with what I know from the comics I've read, namely Tower of Babel from JLA and a few other little one offs.
User avatar #15 to #1 - cryingchicken (07/14/2013) [-]

Batmans always prepared.
User avatar #11 to #1 - VincentKing ONLINE (07/14/2013) [-]
easy, batman would reach down for the kryptonite in his utility belt, and in an instant, superman would be in front of him, holding batmans hands in the air, and then heat visioning his face off.
User avatar #16 to #11 - Furubatsu (07/14/2013) [-]
But then there would be A buncha Robins with kryptonite bullets sitting in sniper rifles aimed at Superman
User avatar #19 to #16 - VincentKing ONLINE (07/14/2013) [-]
but as soon as superman hears one get fired, he would use his superspeed to get far enough away, wait for them to hit the ground, then kill the robins.
#31 to #19 - garawra (07/14/2013) [-]
But bullets move faster than sound, so that's impossible.
User avatar #33 to #31 - VincentKing ONLINE (07/14/2013) [-]
don't forget, he has super hearing, he will hear it as the trigger is pulled. And before you say he cant move that fast, remember that he can reverse time by flying around the world at a high speed.
#34 to #33 - garawra (07/14/2013) [-]
He may have super hearing, but the speed of sound is only 340~ms^-1, so his super hearing doesn't really matter.
User avatar #37 to #34 - VincentKing ONLINE (07/14/2013) [-]
going by old DC comics, he can hear the bullet travel towards him, as well as it being fired. When hit with a kryptonite bullet though, it is usually him being self confident, and not realizing they have a kryptonite bullet. So while yes, he could easily dodge it, Superman may just stand there and hope its a normal bullet.

In a way, we are both right, me with his speed, and you with the robin thing. The only question would be if whether or not Superman would suspect Batman would play dirty.

I would continue this, but its 2:30 AM and I gotta be up at 6 to go to JMC Academy (getting a bachelor in game design )
#38 to #37 - garawra (07/14/2013) [-]
It was a pleasure discussing this with you, friend.

I'd also say we're both right to a certain degree.
User avatar #35 to #34 - VincentKing ONLINE (07/14/2013) [-]
yes but put it this way, robin must pull the trigger, which makes a feint click as it sets off the firing pin, which then fires the bullet. Between the trigger being pulled and the bullet going off (in that micro second) Superman can easily dodge it.

Batman has kryptonite coated weapons as a fail safe in case any of the Superman-type heroes go rouge (Superboy, Superboy Prime, Supergirl, etc.). Also, in the unlikely chance that Superman suddenly turns evil the Lanterns would do everything possible to hold him down and Batman would most likely be given in a power ring. In which case, everybody is ****** .

Like this, from Darkest Night
User avatar #87 to #73 - cresel (07/14/2013) [-]
were super man decide to go evil he would assassinate most of the threats to him including batman before they even knew he went rouge

Universe crossing, but you'd be right. Actually in "Fear Itself" Hulk obtains a hammer like Thor's. Upon touching it he becomes mindless and is blessed with Asgardian armor (albeit from an Asgardian villain). The Hulk pretty much turned into a god. Oh, and the Juggernaut got a hammer too.

Well time keeps going slower and slower and slower, until you reach the speed of light. That's when time stops.

At least on the outside. Time still flows normally for the one travelling at that speed.

Or at least that's how I've understood it. D: I'unno, goes way over my head.

#172 to #163 - tehtrollface ONLINE (07/14/2013) [-]
Stuff like that is very confusing, hard to conceive. But, when a hypernova happens, (They make black holes) It pushes the center of the star's core into such an infinitely small point, called a black hole, where time stops and such a gravitational pull nothing can escape it once passed the event horizon. But back to the point, if you traveled the speed of light for an entire day, and came back to earth, you would find that a entire year has passed. Though I don't see how you could travel back in time, traveling the speed of light, you can only go forward. If you broke the speed of light it could send a ripple effect across the universe. Sort of how when the sound barrier is broken it creates a sonic boom, a form of after effect of something much bigger and denser than sound going that speed. And of course everything I say is theretical, it has the potential to be right, but at the same time just as much potential to be wrong.

2ldr; Theoretical physics say it's impossible to travel back in time, only forward. The only way to travel back in time is to use some sort of portal, like a wormhole, but that opens up the possibilty of Paradoxes, which could destroy the universe.
