WELL.... Actually teachers are up WAAAAYYY before students, so before you be an ignorant ******* thank your teachers, they gave enough of a **** to get up extremely early to teach your inconsiderate ass, teachers have it WAY worse than students, some teachers have to make a test, quiz or exam from scratch, and you're giving them **** ? Grow a pair
Give me your red thumbs, only shows me that you're an ******* and won't admit to being wrong.

As the son of a teacher, I can agree with this. I'd like to add the fact that they are usually up just as long, if not longer, than their students in order to prepare lesson plans, do marking, prepare tests, etc

We already don't get sleep because of you.
User avatar #80 - xjessicaxrabbitx (07/12/2013) [-]
I know it's a joke, but it's not the teachers' fault. They'd like it if school started later, too.
#66 - anonymous (07/12/2013) [-]
It is actually worse to be a student than a teacher because as a student.
I did an 8 hour shift in high school teaching little kids English. I didn't grade any papers or anything and the work was exhausting but it still beat constant homework, exams, projects and most of all worrying about your grades.
The only reason it might be bad to be worse to be a teacher is if you hated your job and then it's probably your fault in the first place so you don't have the right to complain...?

What does this have to do with America again?

Goes to College/university, complain that you have to wake up....yeah, makes total sense....
#67 to #63 - tylosaurus (07/12/2013) [-]
Well, education nowadays is pretty much obligatory, at least here. If you want a secure economy in the future that is.
User avatar #68 to #67 - ctenop (07/12/2013) [-]
Can't really complain at the teachers though. I took it as degree level, as in the UK we don't really say graduate...
#69 to #68 - tylosaurus (07/12/2013) [-]
I suppose not, but that wasn't my point of my statement.
User avatar #71 to #69 - ctenop (07/12/2013) [-]
Well my point was you chose to do it, yours was it is necessary for life, so no one should complain. You gets lots of holidays and only 6/7 hours days
User avatar #72 to #71 - tylosaurus (07/12/2013) [-]
and my point was that it's getting pretty much obligatory.
Getting an education that is.
User avatar #73 to #72 - ctenop (07/12/2013) [-]
What a shame you have to wake up early to receive your free but obligatory education. And you can home teach if you are that dispondant to the idea of waking up early... a job is basically obligatory, and you have to wake up early for them, if you change your sleeping pattern it won't be early. As I student I average around 4-6 hours a night on week nights.
User avatar #76 to #73 - tylosaurus (07/12/2013) [-]
Yeah, I'm not complaining about getting a free education.
but you can't do much without it.
Some just want a normal job, but a lot of it now requires education.
Some don't even like math, science, chemistry, biology. Some have their hearts at gymnastics and other things. Singing, painting. You want to be a programmer, but you have to do all sorts of things you'd rather avoid.

Do you understand? I'm not really complaining about it at all, well the sleeping part of it that is.
User avatar #77 to #76 - ctenop (07/12/2013) [-]
I was more commenting on the post, not you friend. Oh I agree. I wan't to do Philosophy, Politics and Economics. If you do that at oxford you go on a list, and basically the world is your oyster. I want to do it at stirling, what annoys me is my degree, even if I got a better grade, or did a better course than someone who went oxford, will be seen as inferior to an oxbridge student. That's just elitism at it's finest.
User avatar #78 to #77 - tylosaurus (07/12/2013) [-]
Aha, I see. Well alright then, nothing to do here as I agree that complaining about the sleeping is sort of stupid.
#59 - anonymous (07/12/2013) [-]
shouldnt you be doing that to the board of education. the teachers have to get up early too?
#54 - moforsho (07/12/2013) [-]
You've probably already had a teacher that's snuck into your room at night, we all have...right?
right?...
User avatar #53 - seventh (07/12/2013) [-]
No, you won't OP.
#51 - kaycie (07/12/2013) [-]
The teachers have to be their even earlier than you do.
And that's their job for the rest of their lives.
Then you get to choose your classes and times when you go to college, while they'll be getting up at 5:30 am for the next 30 years.
#70 to #51 - anonymous (07/12/2013) [-]
They are off summers, Christmas, Easter, work 8 hour days and 5 days a week.....they work so long and hard.......
User avatar #75 to #70 - kaycie (07/12/2013) [-]
Teachers salary is **** , I'm sure most of them get summer jobs.
And even so, it's like they spend their entire life in school, always getting up early and teaching the exact same thing over and over and over to ******* kids
#48 - anonymous (07/12/2013) [-]
Since they probably got less sleep than you, you are an ******* .
#47 - aslypancake (07/12/2013) [-]

they didn't decide what time school starts...

also if a kid was sleeping most of my teachers just let them sleep because the figure that he had a good reason to and they aren't keeping anyone else from learning anyways. plus a grouchy, tired student probably isn't going to learn anything anyways.
#35 to #34 - jinapayne (07/12/2013) [-]
They decide how much homework...
That's the reason why most students dont get sleep
