If you ever feel insignificant remember a country a third the size of an American state forced the world into a war where millions died and changed the very course of history.

you have to remember that size isn't what matters, its density. the UK may be three times smaller than Texas but the UK's population is almost about three times more than Texas

You give the Texans too much credit, or the British not enough, either way works.

I'm not sure what you're talking about, the average IQ in Texas is 100 and the average IQ in U.K. is also 100.

Where are you getting your information from? It's not about the highest IQ and if it was, UK would literally set Texas to the stone age. My point is UK has not only more smart people and it's a shame that Texas is really big and cant have a greater intelligence than a small island, but then again Texas dosen't have much other than that to brag about their size. Are they compensating for something when they do that?

Well damn, I thought this was BS until I looked up the area of texas and compared it with a few of these countries. I never realized how large Texas was.

Maybe it's because some parts of the world gets stretched on maps, since the world is round and a map is square. Same reason why on most maps Greenland is like 4 times it's normal size. Usually only globes and those weird maps with jagged sides are acurate size wise.
