Did you have it in a cup or a coozy? If not than you were probably breaking the law anyway. Most beaches have open container laws and it doesn't matter how old you are, you'll get a ticket. Just get liquor and mix it with a soda before going on the beach. That's what I did when I was younger.

I think America's drinking law is at 21 for a good reason, due to a lot of alcohol-infused crime in the country.
