That is some great advice. I tried it once before. It worked great!

I guess some people don't know that old computer still exist even though it's 2013. They don't magically disappear or transform into a modern one over night. Plus the floppy drive is just a part inside the PC you can still build a computer with top of the line parts and throw a floppy drive in there.

Did you try turning it on and off again?

No no. A floppy drive uses a small, 3.5 inch disc, that was square (pictured.) It was the primary disc drive available before CDs became prevalent, and it had a maximum capacity of about 1 and a half megabytes. Windows 3.1 could be installed using 6 of these bad boys.

Also from the days of yore (re: the early and mid 90's) is the concept of a "desktop computer." This was a tower with external monitor, mouse, keyboard, and speakers, and it often had a floppy drive and a CD drive in it.

When I was 7 we had "Who Wants TO Be A Millionaire" game on the computer. At the end they would show a check with how much money you won, and my dad would print them off for fun. I thought that **** was real so I kept them. I learned it was all fake when I was 10. I was so disappointed.
