he is giving you good advice unfortunately. Figure out something you can make money at and vaguely enjoy and go to school for that.

I want to make comics. As you can see, it's not going very well. I'm going to need someone to help me make stories.

He's telling the truth. It's a useless skill to have... seriously. Music and art degrees are the dumbest wastes of money there is. It's so ******* stupid and useless. You'll never find a job with one. What do you call a music major? Unemployed. What do you say to an art graduate? I want a number 5 with no pickles.

Clearly you have no idea how much money private music teachers make.

If I was an artist i would be like Leonardo Da Vinci. Not only I'm a painter but I'm also a scientist, an inventor, an architect, a philosopher, and possibly do much more to change the world.

I dated one girl, and her father loved me. Mostly because I didn't beat her or cheat on her.

Is tattooing also really bad? You know, when it comes to money and stable income. I mean, since I have some talent within art, I might as well make something out of it yes? I'm young, I have a lot of choices still, but I just want to be sure if it's viable to go for.

I would love to be a musician and make my money off that. Although I know those chances are so slim so my back up is to become and audio engineer and open my own studio. Even if i don't make a lot at least I'll have a fun job.

Don't get a job in something you love because you'll get tired of it and you will start to hate it.
Instead get a job in something that pays well and interests you a bit but the studying part is hard (chemistry, biology, maths, physics, medicine...) - you'll have a secure job and a nice income.
Then you can do what you love in your free time and if you by any chances become a famous (musician, artist, whatever your dream is), you'll be able to do it even if you fail at it a few years later, you still have the previous job.
