No, my parents are good people and they raised me well. I'm not so entitled in my worldview that I would fault them not constructing me an elaborate play room. It would have been awesome, but its not something that would be of detrement in any way to my opinions of my parents.

Funny. I saw the exact same room before on this site.
The guy called it his secret or hiding area.
Amazing how that girl and that guy have the same secret room.

its because the closet is made out of wood from a tree that grew from seeds taken from narnia

narnia stays the same no matter from where you enter it

Well, at least OP didn't take credit for it... In the title he wrote "Amazing parents", so I'm assuming he meant that the people who did this were amazing parents, not insinuating that he is an amazing parent and did this for his child

Atheists logic: Doesn't teach religion to children because thinking God doesnt exist, teach their kids about a fantasy world of magic, mythical beasts, and talking animals.

First off, the Narnia books are about Christianity. That's all they're about. Second off, atheists do teach their children about mythical places, because they want their kids to have an imagination. They also teach them the difference between imaginary and reality.

Okay, so there's this lion (jesus) who is the son of the creator of all (god) and if you believe in him and act well you are rewarded, but the white witch (satan) has plunged the world into everlasting winter (darkness) and seduces people with promises and lies ( like satan.) Then, one of the followers of aslan betrays him (judas) and lion-jesus is killed by his enemies using a conveniently placed table that is related to the old gods (cross.) But lo and behold does furry jesus resurrect, and begin amassing his forces. Afterwards, Aslan and all the good people (christians) face off against the white witch (satan) and her army (the soldiers of hell.) After the battle (apocalypse) is over, the armies of good have won, and the world is now a paradise (heaven) ruled over by the 4 children (the most virtuous of god's followers.) The whole second book is a synopsis of the bible, but each other book explores some other bible story in depth.

.. let's just pretend that it's about a lion and the power of a child's imagination.

they should not tell their kid about it for a while hoping the kid will be curious enough and stumble through it by accident, or show them the movie so it sparks that curiosity
