How about instead you just hate war. Its not like we're the only country that does this.
#217 to #215 - anantara (07/05/2013) [-]
Sure is the only country that invades Iraq and lies to their whole country about how the troops are going to make peace when they were actually only there for oil
User avatar #276 to #217 - amishparadise ONLINE (07/05/2013) [-]
1. U.K., Poland, Australia all took part in the initial invasion, over 25 countries have sent units there at some point since the fall of the Ba'athist PA

2. We don't get hardly any oil from the Middle East, what we don't produce ourselves, we import from mainly Canada and Norway
#291 to #276 - anantara (07/05/2013) [-]
There is a lot of resources you can get from the Middle East, even if it's not oil. But America only goes in to help countries for their own national interests. Sure they are apart of some UN missions but Canada was said to be involved with all UN missions. Anyways this doesn't matter, all Countries are corrupt if they all decide to spend billions on war arms instead of something actually useful. It's just that... America is known for that. IF they didn't spend so much on defense systems then they would still have the best military in the world. China, Russia Etc are also doing it. The States is a problem though...12,804 McDonald's restaurants. Corporation is war.

But you said oil, which we are not. And name one thing in that god-forsaken sandbox that we could possibly want. I've honestly reached the point where I say let the Arab and Persian states collapse and return to the tribal **** holes they clearly wish to be
#302 to #297 - anantara (07/05/2013) [-]
Well you sure do have the overall well affirmed American attitude.
User avatar #307 to #302 - amishparadise ONLINE (07/05/2013) [-]
We have it for a reason. Every time we manage to make things a little better there, some group gets mad, blows up a car, kills some people, and we are blamed. I say **** 'em.

I never said I supported what my country is doing and I don't focus on all the details of the war.

I don't know where you're from, but I'm sure your country has done something it isn't proud of. Or at least shouldn't be proud of.
#223 to #220 - anantara (07/05/2013) [-]
Yeap Canada long while ago took almost all the First Nations kids from their parents and put them in catholic school and pretty much tortured the poor things. The British obviously invaded Canada, they were full of power and greed. ******* idiots, but guess what... We apologized. XD

Around 100 Canadian troops participated in the initial invasion with U.S. units in front line combat, and Canada provided 'moral support' for the invasion
#294 to #281 - anantara (07/05/2013) [-]
100 Canadian troops is rather minimal compered to what we could of done, the Mayor refused to involve with the invasion.
User avatar #299 to #294 - amishparadise ONLINE (07/05/2013) [-]
But the fact is, Canada, knowingly took part in the invasion, however unofficially, and your government was prepared to provide more of a contribution than the U.K. had the U.N. gotten off its ass and sanctioned the invasion. We just got tired of waiting while they dragged their feet...again
#227 to #223 - anon (07/05/2013) [-]
>impyling being Canadian is anything to be proud of.

You're basically the easy mode country.
#233 to #227 - anantara (07/05/2013) [-]
But get this... **** preconceived misconceptions regarding the validity of common stereotypes involving the people associated with any particular country. I just hate war.
User avatar #285 to #233 - amishparadise ONLINE (07/05/2013) [-]
Know who hate it more? The people who fight it.
#229 to #227 - anantara (07/05/2013) [-]
Yeah, it's quite Easy.... we have freedom.
User avatar #245 to #229 - lolollo (07/05/2013) [-]
Stop being a dense ************ . Do you really think everyone in the United States agrees with this war? Who do you think agrees with it the least?

The liberal hippes, or the ones out fighting the war?

Also stop acting like the States are the only country that does evil **** . Fr one thing, we don't. We're over there trying to keep evil **** from happening, evil **** like a true tyranny sweeping in to take over (like apparently has already happened here). Did it start for something as trivial as oil? Probably, but if you'd spend just 5 seconds over there, you'd realize that some of the people there are a special kind of evil.
User avatar #289 to #245 - amishparadise ONLINE (07/05/2013) [-]
Everyone that's come back has told me there are no real good people there, just good-bad people, and bad-bad people
User avatar #290 to #289 - lolollo (07/05/2013) [-]
From what I'm told, they're neither good nor bad...just too easily influenced by the wrong people.
#254 to #245 - anantara (07/05/2013) [-]
I'm never acted like the States did evil **** I just explained what my own country did.... I am well aware of what other countries do.
User avatar #264 to #254 - lolollo (07/05/2013) [-]
Then you should understand why it's stupid to try and demoralize any one side in a war. In truth, war is already going to be demoralizing enough for the both of them. The real truth was probably that the guy was in the military for a sense of duty, or honor, but the last thing he wanted to do was fight in a war.

If you want to be pissed at our government, though, then by all means...we're pissed enough for the both of us already.

hi anantara
#236 to #229 - anon (07/05/2013) [-]
Lol, sure you do, buddy.
I'll remember that next time I see your country sucking France's cock.
"Wow, they sure are free, aren't they?"
#241 to #236 - anantara (07/05/2013) [-]
Meh, not really your right. They should have the right to do anything with their country, but the thing is... we actually let them vote and either if its true or not, it was a 50-49 vote on either Quebec should have their own country or not and the 50% vote was to be with Canada. So technically we do have freedom in that sense.
#246 to #241 - anon (07/05/2013) [-]
"in a sense"

Lol, okay, Frenchy.
