If your body doesn't emit heat - I'd say it doesn't really matter if it works, because then you're dead...

When I was little I wanted to build things like supersuits and hovercrafts, and this was before any exposure to things like iron man. I wanted to grow up to build and do amazing things, and I loved the idea of inventing new technologies that never existed before. I would draw blue prints for devices I dreamed of building. I wanted to tinker, but never had much opportunity, mostly because of money constraints and my parents not letting me mess around with electronics. I had trouble understanding, and had little technical knowledge, but despite everything, I never let reality damper my spirits.

Now I'm sitting here years later... recalling all these memories and wondering what I let myself turn into. I grew up slowly realizing how average and talentless I was, only to be consumed by the misfortune and ugliness of the world around me. Even if I'm nothing special, I let all of my spark and passion die. Everything that had meaning to me was taken from me.

I've failed to produce a single result. I'm just a hollow shadow of my former self. And even if I never had the talent-I let my spirit and will to do things die, and I think, nothing is worse than that. I've failed myself.

tl;dr posts like these just make me feel like **** .

Again I am reminded that I'm just an average human whose insignificant in comparison to so many smarter people. But that flashlight is pretty darn cool still.
