mechanical engineering...
I just survived the first year. The other 4 I just,.... don't even care anymore abou them.
My teachers are complete assholes, ******* of work due yesterday, everyone is rushing to do stuff and everyone thinks you still don't do enough.
You think math would be the biggest problem? Bitch, math is a blessing amongst the other *********** of classes, you breath in relief. And physics... holy mother of god I miss physics.
Advice kids: choose wisely and be prepared to feel the despair

In Scoland we only need to do 4 Years for a full degree, 3 if you decide to settle for a designated degree other than an honors.

I'm also doing mechanical. I just done my first year as well. I found it relatively easy. The only class that offered something challenging was Engineering Mechanics. I got 4 A's and 2 B's. We didn't get any exams this year though, it was ased on coursework and a few class tests.

Im studying in glasgow, I only have to do 2 years but I only end up with a HNC, I can do an extra year to get a HND

Yeah, With an HNC though, you can go straight into your second year of uni.
An HNC is just a longer route into uni. I think I would have preferred to to an HNC other than doing 2 years worth of Highers. Since the majority of stuff I done in the highers hasn't shown up at all on the course (Except Integration and Differentiation), the HNC would have been more relevant, and I assume more interesting.

Its been ok, I'm doing an extra year at the end since I'm doing marine engineering also, should be finishing in a couple of months, can't wait, City of Glasgow college was the worst place I could have done it though

I've never understood that.
The Northern Irish also need to pay the same as the English, Wales however can receive some funding.
I think its stupid that Scotland is willing to fund a random guy from Romania other than someone that can already enter and live in Scotland without a passport or visa.

It seems like a waste of their money, I'd much rather they let the whole of the UK and Ireland have free funding in Scotland, but have everyone else in Europe (That doesn't already have free education eg Sweden) pay.

On the other hand though, i reckon it's westminster that's put in the prices for English students in Scotland. Since, if Scotland gave you free education, yous would head on up and use our system. Therefore the lovely tory government you elected wouldn't get **** from students.

As annoyed as I am with the Tories, I'm still happy having them over Labour, who seem intent on giving ever lazy cunt money for nothing to get votes.

From Ed Milibands recent speeches, Labour is starting to agree with the tories on taking everything and giving minimum in return.

I think they should cut off all benefits except student assistance, some disability and pensions. Job seekers allowance etc is ******** , people getting money for doing nothing. Students need it, because its tough working and studying at the same time. Some disabled people need it, since if you're paralyzed you can't do much. And pension, because no-one (Except charity shops and churches) want you if you're old.

Disability allowance needs to be revised a lot though. Like people being classed as disabled because they're obese, then they get a disabled parking ticket, encouraging them to get fatter. In my opinion, they should get a ticket that says they need to park further away, pay more on road tax. fuel and insurance, to encourage them to walk more.

You, sir, should be prime minister. If you form a political party, I will vote for you.

Thank you.
But once I stopped the fat kids from being fat, this picture explains what would happen for the rest of my time in parliament.
