Not being afraid makes a man crazy. Over coming that fear is what define bravery.
#334 - pxthreezerothree (06/30/2013) [-]
A man who is not afraid cannot show bravery. In order to brave you must first overcome your fear. There is a reason why we respect firefighters and soldiers and the like: they ignore their instinct to flee and run towards the danger. They do something we will not or can not do.

If you have no fear, then you can not be brave. The lack of fear only makes someone stupid.

"Find the feminist" is almost as much fun as "Spot the Vegan."

Women do not belong in the army... i'm sorry but it's true. They're just a hassle usually. They can not carry as much equipment as men because they are physically weaker, that's a fact and not just sexist ******** , so who has to take on the extra gear? The men in the unit. If there was ever close quarter fighting the same rule applies about them being physically weaker, now someone else has to look after them. I would not trust a woman covering my back. Also the brotherhood of battle, it isn't sisterhood.

Well, some of those are debatable. Women actually tend to do better at carrying heavy torso loads because their anatomies are, well, better suited to it because their bodies are built to carry babies for nine months. But I won't dispute what you said about close-quarters combat, because load-bearing strength does not equal combat strength at all. To be honest, though, it really depends on what roles you put them in. Not every single woman in the military is going to take up a role with a lot of equipment, so you don't have to worry about men having to carry a **** ton of extra gear. A woman with a rifle and standard gear can manage just as well as the man next to her. Additionally, they're an asset in the field - hostile civilians tend to trust women more than men (it's a psychological thing), and women tend to be more cool-headed and better at thinking in crisis situations.

I could go on (I wrote a whole paper on this for my AP Government class) but that's just my two cents

There are a few exceptions. Have you ever seen the Israeli army? They have some of the most combat capable women in the world over there. Of course that is different than here where women have been pampered and treasured as delicate playthings for decades.

But if a man and a woman went through the same training the man would come out superior in combat just because of his natural advantage of strength.

modern feminisim101: worthless Men need to treasure and provide for and protect women as a whole like they are porcilan dolls. Man must exalt woman hood at all times while also acknowledging that masculinity which built society is evil and wrong.

I don't get it? What does she expect him to do, pull out a sword and go all charge of the light brigade on the enemy?

You can still be strong and brave whilst being afraid... in fact to do something you are actually afraid of makes you braver in my book.

Here are my two cents to this post, and I'm ready for a **** load of down votes or red thumbs or what ever the **** you wanna call them. I don't think that she's is saying that this man is afraid in a bad way, but is using this as an example of how men can be afraid in the face of danger, and won't always do what they say they will, such as most of us will do to "impress" them. For example, I knew some kid who said that he would join the army, but when something like what's happening in the picture happens to him, he would go "all Rambo on their asses" implying that he is not afraid if his. But what this post could be trying to say is that men are afraid too, men aren't as strong as they say they are, and are not as brave as they say they are. While this could be the wrong interpretation, this is what I believe she is trying to say, but ****** it up pretty bad in the process, sorry about the wall of text, so have an army related lol

If what you're saying is true, then that makes it post is the most poorly worded statement to date!

Doesn't seem fair to demean the whole gender just because there are some idiots among us. You know, some men make stupid statements as well.. I'm not a feminist or anything, I'm just saying.
