You know, the difference between using the letter "R" comically and overusing it could change the return of a dinosaur to making the inverse Michael Jackson-zilla.

I know, I acually stopped going on the boards recently. It was horrible too, from damn near black to slightly lighter gray. At least I got blue after that, which was nice

That's an awful expensive lizard to have walking around outside.
User avatar #11 to #10 - sanguinesolitude (06/28/2013) [-]
what a horrible picture.

and its expensive, which is why they have a fancy baloon tied to it.

I love how nonchalant you seemed switching from the first line to the second.
User avatar #32 to #10 - rhiaanor (06/28/2013) [-]
hence the ******* BALLOON ATTACHED TO IT
#33 to #32 - jldragon (06/28/2013) [-]
Well, to be real... it's most likely that the balloon was only for the purpose of this (admittedly) funny picture and not something they use to keep track of their pet.

I was just referring to how expensive cool lizards are, I've owned two bearded dragons that lived for a decade together and three chameleons that each died within afew years even taking care of them in a controlled environment and paying some crazy vet bills.

Chameleons and bearded dragons are in the $80+ range where I live, I wouldn't let one roam around outdoors unless I was right beside them, especially if I cared about it.

I had two leopard geckos once that were like 30$ each... one of them ate the other one.... I swear to you I fed them normally, I even got them the crickets that the bastards liked. Its like one of them hit puberty or something.
#37 to #35 - jldragon (06/29/2013) [-]
Oh my god, i'm sorry that's horrifying but I still can't stop laughing.

When I was little I had a tank with red-eared slider turtles in it and I put some leopard frogs in to keep them company. I woke up in the middle of the night to hear the frogs screaming like human women as they were eaten alive....
User avatar #76 to #37 - qpcugh (06/29/2013) [-]
I had two read eared sliders and would often feed them goldfish. Well apperantly one of the goldfish befriended the turtles and from that day on bacame a cannibal. It wouldn't eat fish food anymore, only scraps of other goldfish left behind by the turtles. Freaked me the hell out

We had an iguana for quite a while, they are alright on their own, big enough that most critters just leave them alone, plus they'll eat damn near anything green, but they can bolt, rarely do but they can take off into the woods pretty fast if you aren't careful
#97 to #95 - jldragon (06/29/2013) [-]
Yeah, I've had several Iguanas too but didn't mention them because they only cost like 15 bucks or can be won at the county fair, as ****** of a thing as that may be to say.

I like Iguanas though. When I was really little my dad had one for several years that got to be 4 feet long or so. One of my earliest memories is being at my grandparents house with the Iguana tied to a tree, then he broke free and ran off into the cornfield never to be found. I hope he grew to be giant.
User avatar #98 to #97 - monkeysniper (06/29/2013) [-]
When I was really little my family had this huge mean ******* bastard of an iguana, he hated things just for the sake of hating them, one day he got bored and whipped his tail so hard he crack the glass (good terrarium glass too) though we eventually got rid of him and got and nicer, smaller female iguana, whom was ironically named Fluffy
#99 to #98 - jldragon (06/29/2013) [-]
My first dog I had at the same time was named Fluffy...

Goddamn coincidences... maybe once i release these turtles i have now I'll get an iguana again.
User avatar #36 to #33 - rhiaanor (06/29/2013) [-]
they were pretty neat and yeah I wouldn't leave him outside but then again I didn't have a ballon to attach to them... and it would probably just lift them up.
