Wasn't it banned because of an early study that showed that it made women horny for black people?

Acutally, it was banned because people made ropes out of it, thus the rope industry would've gone bankrupt

Please correct me if I'm making a total fool ot of myself

No it's true, not just rope industries though, there were a lot more uses for it, a lot. They just don't legalize it because of the amount of money they will lose.

Close but no cigar. Someone ran a smear campaign against it and that's why it's illegal and therefore not on the market. It's not that the big companies are withholding it.

Nah, I don't think the government cares what people think, why do you think everything is rigged, they do it for the money.

The government represents you, not the other way round. You've seen what happens when they try to ban something when we don't want them to, and you've seen what happens when something we want is banned. If someone in government wants to stay successful they have to make everyone happy first. I don't understand how this can be a difficult concept for people.
Also, if marijuana was made legal, it'd be pretty good for the economy. Just one more good to export that has it's own advantages. It's really not a bad thing for the government.

I haven't seen what happens, why did they put laws for protesting? How are you going to demand if it's illegal to protest?

You been living under a rock? SOPA? How about the prohibition? And when the government somehow manages to ban protesting, there's a revolution. There's simply no way to lead a democracy like a tyrant.

Yes, I in fact do live under a rock. A rock where weed is legal, and it has blackjack and hookers.
