If this was a Tumblr post everyone would be complaining about the reply, but because it's from 4chan, it's gonna slip by

When I get a dog, I'm naming him Axel because it sounds incredibly close to ass hole.

My uncle named his cat "askim" just to set this up:

"Aw, cute kitty. what's his name?"
"Ask him"

I wonder, can animals get the same 'diseases' as humans? Can they also get Downs Syndrome? How about autism, ADHD, or schizophrenia?

Also, inb4 that one downs syndrome tiger. I actually in what species those conditions are found.

Yes, my dog has canine cognitive dysfunction (basically dog Alzheimer's). He runs into walls, forgets where he is most of the time, needs to be directed/carried everywhere, and will **** everywhere even if he was just outside (he forgets why he was outside in the first place). Its sort of manageable, but I'm probably going to have to put him down in the fall because I am going to college, my parents can't take care of him because they both work, and since he's an old dog no one would adopt him.

My dog was like that. We put him down last year because he just couldn't do anything.

i suppose down syndrome is possible, i mean its just a matter of the chromosomes isnt it

it happens if the breeding is incestuous, all kinds of bad things happen genetically then

No it doesn't, Down's means there's an extra chromosome. Inbreeding does not raise the likelihood at all, however being a mother over 40 triples the rate.

Incestuous conception does not automatically mean a deformed baby, although it does raise the likelihood slightly.
