THE **** ?

I don't have a car, what's the point in getting car insurance? To help pay for the damage in case you're in an accident?

That and it's illegal to drive on public roads without insurance. Here in Britain if the police catch you without insurance they will take your car and either crush or sell it.

I've got a 1.4L 90hp Peugeot 206, with me, dad and mum on the policy, for just a little over £1,000 p/a. Should add I'm 19. Myself and everyone I know my age are with LV because they're a lot fairer than anyone else. No ****** little black box either - **** any company who makes you install one of those, why should you be told how to drive. It's just a constant reminder that if you do something wrong then you'll be charged more.

My 1.1l Peugeot 206 is 1850 for my first year of driving (third party fire and theft), yet my Kawasaki ER5 which is 10 times the speed and is more valuable is 180 fully comp for the year.

The bike does 0-60 in 3.5ish seconds, the car does it in 5 times the time... **** logic.
User avatar #49 - technotoaster (06/26/2013) [-]
This is why i ride motorcycles in the uk, insurance on a bike that tops out at 155mph for is less than £500, where as ****** car would set me back 5x that on insurance
