Sorry to say this but the fox news picture is photoshopped. It's an anti-fox news image.
This on the other hand is CNN interviewing Bill Nye about it. www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2277529/CNN-anchor-suggests-meteor-hurtling-Earth-result-global-warming.html

Believing a fake photoshopped image and using it as evidence for other people's stupidity.

Only on the internet.
#86 - Logicaltightrope (06/25/2013) [-]
Something tells me this might just be photoshopped.

not that fox is class A news, but hey, there's MSNBC among others to balance things out.
#4 - anon (06/25/2013) [-]
Fox News is like a stupid version of the Onion, their stories are stupid and full of **** with the intention to make people laugh. The funniest part is that they're dead serious.
#73 to #4 - Macmanfly (06/25/2013) [-]
You do realize this is a fake picture?
#65 to #4 - Fgner (06/25/2013) [-]
For the love of God, how stupid can people get.

This photo was, without a doubt, photoshopped. The real "global warming causing meteorites" article was actually published by CNN. You can find a link to the discussion somewhere else in these comments. Fox news didn't even associate the two.

And Fox news is just like any other news station. It's biased toward their party, and it plays with facts to appeal to a larger audience. You think ******* CNN is unbiased news? If so - you're also one of those people who says "sheeple" unironically to denounce people who have different beliefs from you as well. I like watching all news channels, but Fox news is by far the most factual in my opinion.

Sure they overplay **** , but at least they address it - and at least they bring people with different opinions in. Half the time I'm watching CNN they aren't bringing up topics (they spent 30 minutes laughing at a Republican senator because he accidentally said the chief of the IRS instead of the commissioner or something - I don't remember exactly what. The terminology was just slightly off but they didn't bring up anything about the IRS at all that show). It's essentially just a democratic circle jerk.

Anywho - to lighten the mood. Cake.

All News stations have some bias too them. If you can consume information from multiple sources then you're fine if you aren't a twat. Otherwise, consuming information from a single source such as Fox News or MSNBC... don't even deserve to call Fox viewers tards even if they are...

It's funny until the people who listen to them vote.

No, I detest the majority of major news networks. You're an idiot if you don't believe Fox News is the worst offender, though.

You guys realize this is a fake story, right?
#144 to #108 - anon (06/25/2013) [-]
Obviously. This is just a general knock on Fox News.
#55 - zzforrest (06/25/2013) [-]
Obviously shopped. That text isn't the font they use, just look at an actual screencap, so this is shopped. I don't know much about this woman's show, but I'm pretty sure she's not that crazy. Also if you look closely, the coloration near the text is more red and in random blobs instead of the straight reddish black the rest of the bar is.
TL;DR this is shopped and OP is a fag.

Remember a couple years back when left-wing media tried to blame Bush for a stray flock of birds flying into an aircraft. Of course you don't because Bush Bashing was acceptable. Obama Bashing isn't, which is complete garbage. I hate FOX News, CNN, The Blaze, and especially The Huffington Post when it comes to politics. Rant over, enjoy this gif.

it's pretty difficult to understand your attempt at english, but it sounds like you're trying to say people dont bash Obama as much as Bush..? Thats complete rubbish, Obama has probably been bashed more than Bush was during his presidency, mostly for retarded reasons. Sure there have been some (or many) reasons to bash Obama, but people tend to chose the most retarded like how he's taking more vacations than Bush ever did, he's spending billions on himself or other made up ******** . Or simply "eh communist liberal ****** ".
User avatar #117 to #8 - antisocialtwilight (06/25/2013) [-]
Dude, people bash Obama and Bush, the issue here is that Dave Chappelle called Fox News' stupidity a decade early.
User avatar #28 to #8 - ivoryhammer (06/25/2013) [-]
The only reasons people bashed Bush were for legit reasons, people bash on Obama for made up reasons, like he's a "fascist communist socialist Muslim atheist Kenyan terrorist"
#38 to #28 - DasSpiel (06/25/2013) [-]
"Made up reasons."
Right so NDAA, his support of mass surveillance, his support of gun control, drones taking out American citizens without a trial, Benghazi, and potentially the IRS scandal are all totally made up. Also judging by your choice of words, you probably think that anyone who doesn't like Obama and his DJ 4DM1Nistration are ignorant racist homophobic rednecks.
User avatar #60 to #38 - whistleandrun (06/25/2013) [-]
Agree on most of that there, but what's the beef with background checks and magazine limits? I'm english and don't understand why that's bad unless you're a convicted criminal/insane person and want to get a gun or want to pump a deer full of 30 rounds fast...
User avatar #80 to #60 - rieskimo (06/25/2013) [-]
I'm going to do something stupid right now and share an opinion.

I personally have no issue with universal background checks and magazine limitations, the way I see it if that gets the people who can't even spot the business end of a gun off of gun owner's asses, it's a worthy sacrifice.
Gun nuts, most people it seems actually, take issue with the fact that Universal Background Checks "do nothing"(I don't agree) and that guns are a right not a priviledge.

My issue is that guns may be a right and not a privilege but they are a dangerous tool that is at the forefront right now as well as they are part of many different violent and non-violent(accidental) deaths and injuries. If a ******* spoon was as dangerous I'd think similarly about spoons.

Like I said, this is only my personal opinion on the matter.
#95 to #80 - eliteqtip (06/25/2013) [-]
The thing is, we Already have background checks. Every time you buy a firearm from a Federal Firearms License holder you must fill out a 4473 form created by the ATF. The dealer then calls the FBI , who then tells the dealer whether you can buy a gun or not by using a background check. Magazine limits are idiotic because it's all arbitrary. Magazines are just springs in boxes. Any limit placed upon them is arbitrary. An unskilled person can reload an AR-15 within about 2- 3 seconds. I respect your right to your opinion, I just respectfully disagree.
User avatar #102 to #95 - rieskimo (06/25/2013) [-]
As far as I understand, the background checks that they use aren't that effective as they just because a person has been a part of one or multiple violent crimes doesn't mean that they'll be flagged in the FBI's system.

Furthermore, I didn't say that magazine limitation was an effective way to curb gun violence. I know I didn't say that because I know that it doesn't and won't, I'm not stupid or ignorant. I do know what a magazine is. I think that if limiting magazine size will cool the heat on guns and gun ownership it's a worthwhile sacrifice. Especially considering what you just said, it won't limit the availability of ammunition just how quickly it can go out the barrel and even then it won't limit it much.
#105 to #102 - eliteqtip (06/25/2013) [-]
No compromise. That's it. Past gun owners already ****** us enough. No backing down. Also, the current background checks work fine. The Santa Clara shooter was denied access to firearms and so was Lanza. Why do you think Lanza had to kill his mother to get her guns? Read the picture. That's how a lot of firearms owners feel. And for good reason, too.
User avatar #116 to #105 - laughdamnyou (06/25/2013) [-]
Not trying to start a ********* , but as a non-american I'm thinking that he wouldn't have shot anyone if is mother didn't have a gun.

Aaaaand the right wing media got to you - The americans being taken out by drones on american soil is one of fox news's "what ifs" in response to unmanned planes, aka drones patrolling farmland to take pictures of farmers illegally poluting.

Why do people thumb up retarded **** like that?
