Sweat is to cool down your corps, urination is to get rid of bad stuffs.

You dont sweat when you do nothing because your body is not hot enough
You dont piss after sweating because there's not enough water in your body

Sweating and pissing are unrelated, they just both require water.

you begin to smell like piss if you've been sweating for so long that your body runs of of sweat... and uses something else...
User avatar #71 to #5 - setittowumbo (06/25/2013) [-]
Why has no one commented on the fact that he said you don't sweat when you don't do anything? If it's really ******* hot and you're just sitting there your body is bound to start sweating to cool you off.
#7 to #5 - anon (06/24/2013) [-]
No, sweat and urine are both used by the body to get rid of nasty toxins that your liver cleaned from your blood.

That's why sweat stains on white shirts get a yellow taint to them when they dry up.
You're sweating piss.
User avatar #8 to #7 - jetpistol (06/24/2013) [-]
You're not sweating piss, there is just a bit of urea in your sweat. And the first purpose of sweating is to cool down your body.
(Also I've never seen yellow sweat stains, maybe I wasnt paying attention)
#12 to #8 - anon (06/24/2013) [-]
It mainly happens to people with high amounts of toxins in their blood, and people who sweat a lot (ie people eating junk food before their annual gym day)
User avatar #63 to #12 - timmity (06/25/2013) [-]
gyms are stupid, just gofor a run or walk or swim, its free and you get fresh air
#11 to #5 - chrispebbletoe (06/24/2013) [-]
Actually your wrong. Your body decreases amount of blood flow to your digestive system during exercise so your can have more to your muscles. This is what it is referring to.
User avatar #13 to #11 - jetpistol (06/24/2013) [-]
I was not aware of that.
Then again if you want to piss before exercise you can't just sweat it out, right?
#14 to #13 - chrispebbletoe (06/24/2013) [-]
True but thats not what is saying really. But i can see the confusion it may cause. I think as i have studied biology for years and being a Fitness Instructor i saw what is was trying to say straight away. So i knew what it said even though it is phrased wierdly.

there are 2 types of sweat, the normal sweat, comes from everywhere, and toxin sweat that carries toxins out of your body, this only comes out in your armpits and between your buttcheeks
User avatar #60 to #17 - lapsushominum (06/25/2013) [-]
Actually, the first type of sweat is the more familiar kind that is associated with cooling and nervousness, and can be associated with toxin levels, although, as it has already been said, urine is mainly used for that. While the second type of sweat is thicker and thought to be a remnant of pheromone glands.

I don't get it? sweating and urinating don't perform nearly the same function. being active and inactive has nothing to do with the need to sweat and urinate?
User avatar #4 to #3 - studbeefpile (06/24/2013) [-]
Here's what I want you to do: Start running, after running for about 2 or 3 minutes, drink a bunch of water, like 12oz, and continue running for another 15 minutes, drink another 12oz, and repeat. Come back to me after you've done that.

I'm a recreational powerlifter, you know how often I have to take bathroom breaks while I'm lifting? None. None times. And I drink a ******* of water while I'm lifting.
#6 to #4 - anon (06/24/2013) [-]
Well you're wrong son. Hydrating makes you want to urinate more, but urination is about the removal of waste products. Sweating cools you down, it just so happens to use some water as well. They are totally unrelated; if you're sweating piss see a doctor.
#10 to #6 - anon (06/24/2013) [-]
They aren't unrelated, both are used by your body to get rid of toxins.
You think your body would be so unresourceful it would go "hm, I have a bunch of toxins here that I removed from my blood, but I'm using my water for sweating right now. Gee, I guess I'll just keep these toxins inside me, then"?
No. While sweating the body uses your pores to get rid of those toxins. That's why sweat stains on white shirts get a yellow tinge to them when they've dried up.

If sweat only contained water you wouldn't be able to smell it.
tl;dr: If you're not sweating piss, your body is not as evolved and resourceful as the average human body.

#29 - tyraxio (06/24/2013) [-]
Tha... That's not how it works...

You urinate to get rid of waste material from the body.

You sweat to cool yourself down to avoid overheating.

I am not a biologist so I don't know if the same water is used for urinating and sweating, although that would make sense, as it would be a nice use of waste material, but it's not like your body is trying not to disturb physical activity.
User avatar #34 to #29 - studbeefpile (06/24/2013) [-]
While urinating does get rid of certain waste that sweating doesn't, they are both expulsions of excess water, if there is no excess water, there is no vessel for urinary waste to travel by, so you don't urinate until you drink more water later while you're not doing anything.

The human body is actually pretty ******* smart.
User avatar #35 to #34 - malhaloc (06/24/2013) [-]
Except when its not. For example your body needs oxygen. Oxygen is poisonous. However if you don't have oxygen your lungs fill with blood as it is the closest source of it. So in other words your body will drown itself to acquire the poison it lives on.
User avatar #36 to #35 - studbeefpile (06/24/2013) [-]
You know what, you're right. The human body is a ******* idiot, it's a miracle anyone is alive.
#53 to #35 - ulissesbarraza (06/24/2013) [-]
Oxygen is not poisonous. An excessive concentrations of oxygen is though. Your body wouldnt drown itself in blood to get oxygen because the only source of close blood is there because it needs to replenish its oxygen supply. Any oxygen-rich blood has already left the lungs to go to the heart to be sent to the rest of your body. Only then does the oxygen-poor(if any) travel back to the lungs to get more oxygen.

More so, oxygen is slightly harmful because it does leave free radical electrons hanging around your body, non-stop, open for reaction. Thats why its so important to consume anti-oxidants to absord these free radicals. So in that sense, yes, oxygen is possibly poisonous towards the overall degeneration of our body (aging).
But its necessary for the facilitation of our circulatory system.

User avatar #51 to #50 - infinitereaper (06/24/2013) [-]
Hell it could be, then again the doctors don't' seem to give a **** about my tests, I know something is wrong. It could be something really simple or extremely rare, it could also be unfixable and just a product of bad genes. I've got bad health anyway.
#52 to #51 - Ohlsson (06/24/2013) [-]
If you find yourself drinking a lot. (Not alcohol, but like water and such) You should tell your doctors that you think it might be diabetes or something. If it's still kinda early in it's stages (though symptomes doesn't show themselves until about 90% of the insulin cells are dead) you can still have a pretty easy time. But yeah, it might be that though it might not be. Hopefully it fixes itself either way and that you start feeling better
User avatar #54 to #52 - infinitereaper (06/24/2013) [-]
Who knows dog, who knows, I have a bit of sweet tooth but don't exactly consume sweet things that much. Anyways my health seems to be getting worse as the years go by, time is gonna tell

if they told me I had chronic cancer I wouldn't be surprised.
#55 to #54 - Ohlsson (06/25/2013) [-]
It's a common misconception that all diabetes comes from sweets etc. If you don't mind me educating you. There are two types of diabetes. Type 2 comes from poor eating habits, lack of exercise etc and can usually be "cured" by a healthy diet and exercise. Type 1, however, is genetic and even if you'd never eaten a gram of sugar your entire life you'd still get it. It's a pain in the bum and leaves you dependent och insulin shots for the rest of your days. I got the latter one.

Don't be so glum. Things might look bad and things might be bad. I know it sucks being told to cheer up so I won't. Instead I just wish you the best and that you find the strength to deal with your spooks whenever you feel that you're ready.
User avatar #56 to #55 - infinitereaper (06/25/2013) [-]
Yeah well thanks. I dunno, if I could be automatically cured of all my heath problems, **** , I don't care if I have to be injected 3 times a day.

Living is painful, literally.
#57 to #56 - Ohlsson (06/25/2013) [-]
Well then. Do some research on Type 1 diabetes. That might be what ails you. If you think it's plausible then do some tests. Either it solves things or you can cross it off of the list. It really sounds like somethings not right in that bod of yours so hopefully you'll find it soon enough.
