If one post back in january with 107 thumbs is the only thing you were referencing to I don't think it's very weird that barely anyone got the reference.

I have never played black ops, or any of the call of duty/modern warfare/battlefield games. At least, not since Battlefield 1942 and Call of Duty 2, and I didn't much like them either. Just don't interest me.

that bristish antagonism are silly, at least today, compared with those in balkans: croats, muslims and serbs vs. each other, greeks vs. turks, serbs vs. albanians, in past croats/serbs/greeks/bulgarians/montenegrians/romanians vs. turks etc.

luckily, things are much better now

I tend to believe that the Scots and the Welsh are allies, because of how much we hate the English. I guess you could throw in the Irish to make it a trio.

Meanwhile, the majority of the english don't care that we're 'hated' by the scots/Irish/welsh.

Well yes, most don't. Because most don't know what the English actually did. I not blaming you or any other englishman either. It's history, just saying that most people have experienced it so are still uncomfortable. But yes, carry on with your Ignorance of "we don't care". That's why you're hated too.

I'm Welsh by the way. If you go to a very rural part of Wales, and you're English, there's a chance that no Welshman will speak to you. Either because they can't speak English, or they can a bit, but just dislike you. Look at the history if you don't know why. A lot of the older generations were punished for speaking Welsh when the English took over the schools and tried to eradicate the language. "Welsh Not". They would also be cained for it too. And wore a "Welsh Not" or "W.N" sign around their necks. Cont Sais.

Ok, we're goign to hop back 3 generations for this. Great grandparents.Fathers side- 2 or three were partially English, with Irish, Scottish, Welsh, and many more mixed in. One was pure Scottish.
Mother side- 1 Grandparent was pure Irish. The others were mixed Italian, Irish and Dutch.
