The way I perceive a "90's" kid is someone who spent the majority of their childhood in the 90's.
#95 to #38 - isheapurebread (06/23/2013) [-]
That's a perfect wording of a 90's kid, as 1997 is in the 90's. I grew up watching ed, edd, and eddy, Rocket Power, and Hey Arnold. I know the correlation between a pencil and a cassette tape. I'm not saying that I remember living in the 90's, but I'm familiar with many of the fads from it.

TL;DR Don't be a bitch about having someone a few years younger than you being associated with you.
User avatar #113 to #95 - niimajneb ONLINE (06/24/2013) [-]
I don't care if someone who's older/younger than me is associated with me, it's ther personality of said person that I can/cannot tolerate. I was saying my opinion (My bad for sharing that on the internet).

I'm 14 and and I feel the exact same way. Hurr swag, hurr weed, hurr I'm ugly. And my mother and stepfather want me to go outside and get some friends... Yeah no thanks I'd stick to the internet wheres its nice and semi-intelligent.

Maybe It's because you still haven't learned to punctuate, If you're looking for a real talk you might as well start contributing, rather than feeling superior for no reason.

People actually talk about "swag" in real life..?

I feel you, bro. I actually enjoy talking about philosophy, technology, etc, but I never can find somebody of my same age interested in the same stuff, except for 1 girl in my classes at school.

I find Biology extremely interesting and plan on working in medicine like when we dissected frogs i was all up in that **** (literally there was **** in its large intestine i squeezed it out like toothpaste) while everyone else was complaining about how gross it was
User avatar #8 to #7 - crazyolitis (06/22/2013) [-]
I'm more of the psychology kind of guy (I'm mostly interested in instincts and how they influence today's behaviour). But hey, at least on the internet there are quite a few people who are interested in the same stuff.
User avatar #9 to #8 - dudeimlikeadude (06/22/2013) [-]
i'm actually excited for school to start up its my first all biology class instead of the mixed subjects in grade 9 and 10 i always get 90's in bio but Physics (which i also find interesting) and chem (i ******** hate it so much i just can't grasp that **** ) bring down my marks
User avatar #10 to #9 - crazyolitis (06/22/2013) [-]
I wasn't able to choose chem and physics. The math was just too hard, although the theory was interesting. At least I've got geography, biology and history to soak it all up.

By the way, it's way too late now, I'm going to sleep. Have a nice day/night.
User avatar #11 to #10 - dudeimlikeadude (06/22/2013) [-]
haha where i am in Ontario its 6:22 pm anyway good night and yes math is a hardy also i hate when people say history is boring its the most interesting class in existence and so easy you just learn facts about things that have happened.

I thought i was replying to Dude, But anyway I was glad to hear that you enjoyed it. May you have a great week/weekend. And here it is also.
I am of the 1997 children and I feel that pain. No one is interested in the meaning of existence and cannot understand how I have knowledge of many subjects. But also, You should know that you are not alone. We are not special in any way, Certain environments cause certain mindsets. In which case the environment which you had grown up in could possibly be similar to mine which caused certain aspects to be similar. Many of these combinations of events in the environment which you have grown up are present in other environments yet could wield different reactions to so events. We are all just running off a great mathematical code of biology, time and space. The code usually repeats outputting different circumstances and reactions. All cause and effect. Either way, Every teacher has told me to wait till University, Most likely you will have more a chance to find similar people. Good luck to you Crazyolitis..

A 90's kid is someone who was influenced/enjoyed many things from the 90's. Not someone born in the 90"s. I'm only 16, and I still experienced so much from that decade.
#69 to #53 - anon (06/23/2013) [-]
Sure you did, with maximum 4 years you experienced so much from the 90´s.
User avatar #71 to #69 - sweetdickwilly ONLINE (06/23/2013) [-]
Tell me this numbnuts, does stuff magically disappear from history once we enter a new decade? No, it doesn't, **** heel. Perhaps I have an older sibling? Perhaps he was born in the early 90s? Perhaps he showed me a lot of great things from his generation?
#73 to #71 - anon (06/23/2013) [-]
Shows normally get exchanged by newer ones, so you couldn´t have experienced them on TV. And btw how old is your brother that he taught you so much abouth the 90´s, 91,92,93? ... yeah he taught you with 9 years at most ... psh ******* .
User avatar #79 to #73 - sweetdickwilly ONLINE (06/23/2013) [-]
Of course, as we all know, shows never last. They ALWAYS get replaced. NEVER does a show span two generations.

User avatar #114 to #111 - annoos (06/24/2013) [-]
My city is fully controlled by the regime, no war going on, but the effects of war still show economically plus the religious tension between religious "parties" (idk what is the word for it, but its like if catholics and orthodox hated each other)
ye my city still has internet (its crappy, but it was always crappy before war) and 12 hours aday of power
#34 - gnorfell (06/23/2013) [-]
When counting statistics those born between 1985 and 1995 are considered "90's kids".

My image folders sucks except for those with wallpapers.

User avatar #101 - eyesodadeep (06/23/2013) [-]
why do people think 90's trends stopped right when the 2000's started? i was born in 97 but i watched dexters lab, johnny bravo, cow and chicken and all those shows, and my favorite bands are 90's bands like pearl jam and soundgarden who are both still around today. im not a 90s kid, im a 90s baby and i still knew what the 90s held

woo hoo, there were cool cartoons that actually continued into the early 2000s, and there were some snack foods and toys that don't exist now. and ****** music that was replaced by different ****** music.
