They're ******* delicious, but they torture you because they burn the **** out of your mouth when you take a bite out of one.

Cut each in half and let'em sit for a couple minutes. You don't have to devour them straight out.

A snake bites a water balloon, and I think that snakes have trouble attaching their jaw back to the skull when they don't bite a hard object.

It could still probably open it... just tighten its body around the knob, push itself against the door, thus turning it.

BOOM, no more safe zones.

User avatar #87 to #84 - jajathezombie (06/23/2013) [-]
At a pet store, probably around $150-$200. If you go to a private breeder it'll be less than half that. Mind you, that's for babies. You could probably get an adult for free, since so many people buy them as babies but don't want them when they grow up.
User avatar #89 to #87 - jajathezombie (06/23/2013) [-]
That's for standard coloring though. Unusually colored snakes can be up to ten times normal price.

Actually it's because if the snake touches inside the microwave it's technically ruined, snakes constantly shed some of their skin when they slither so you'd be eating old dead snake skin which can actually be harmful to you.

Snakes shed their skin all at once, because they lack the ability to take it off piece by piece like we do. It's a side effect of having very stretchy skin connecting scales together.
User avatar #197 to #190 - YeYouKnoMe (06/24/2013) [-]
Yeah of course they shed it all at once, but you really think that just that skin is every last piece? Of course not!, there are some parts that get stuck in the skin, honestly it's hard to get a fully preserved shell of skin but when people usually get one they keep it just because of how perfect it is. But what happens is it gets stuck on there eyes and tears there skin or a certain part isn't shedding as fast.
User avatar #199 to #197 - doooublebaass (06/25/2013) [-]
I've got two pet snakes - one of which is an adult carpet python (M. S. Cheynei, if you want specifics.) and both of them shed perfectly every time. Most pet snakes do, actually. All you have to do is increase the humidity in their enclosure when they come up to a shed. The only time I've seen a bad shed that came off in pieces was because I hadn't seen my baby corn snake for a couple of days after his meal while he was hiding, and then he came out to shed and I'd had no time to increase his humidity.
User avatar #200 to #199 - YeYouKnoMe (06/25/2013) [-]
Oh, well see I didn't know that refer the the gif below, but if you knew this you can't blame me for not knowing about humidity, I got a heat pad heat lamps and all that just didn't know there needed to be extra moisture.
User avatar #201 to #200 - doooublebaass (06/25/2013) [-]
To get sheds right, buy a little spray bottle (Depending if you have long hair or not, the sort they use to wet your hair at the hairdresser/barber) and up the humidity when they're coming into shed. You'll see a massive difference. I also hope your heat sources are guarded with a metal cage and thermostat controlled.
