Aahhaha, that reminds me that the tarmac outside of my house kinda goes like that line...
All because of our 4 meter tall "hedge", that they for some reason did not want to get a foot closer to it. Looks really retarded now that the hedge is no longer there xD

Maybe they were curious about how will the story continue, and hurried up.

I tend to do that when I'm writing a story. I just can't keep a consistent speed cause I want to get to writing the good parts.

How is the big ass paint any different from the graffiti? They're not making anything better.

There used to be some graffiti on a wall near where I live, depicting the Titanic sailing into the sunset, and dolphins leaping out of the water in a cool pattern. Some faggots spray-painted a crude penis with hairy balls over it, and then it got painted over with some retarded beige colour. Also, there used to be a spray-painted image of Billy Connolly on a blue wall. People painted over it in the wrong shade of blue.
User avatar #49 to #43 - yunablade (06/18/2013) [-]
THat depends on the perspective.

If you do this art on your own wall its all good and nice, but when you paint your art on someone elses walls without asking permission and they don't like it, they have all the right to cover it on.

Besides, there might be many good artistic graphiters, nut many of them are prepubecent cunts who can't paint for **** .

I always thought mismatching paint looked worse than graffiti.

But I suppose even the most beautious of graffiti's must come down regardless of their artistic glory.
User avatar #38 to #26 - dildoes (06/18/2013) [-]
Not entirely. Several places near me had kept graffiti on their building for a long time, either because of what it looked like or because of what you said.
User avatar #27 to #26 - lacypushupbra (06/18/2013) [-]
I know a lot of businesses will keep the graffiti if it actually looks good.
In Arizona, I know a few places that even encouraged graffiti on their walls because everything looked boring.
User avatar #28 to #27 - codyxvasco (06/18/2013) [-]
Under an overpass near my house people spray painted some stick figure drawings and a dickbutt. The stick figure drawings looked like cool cave man paintings, but they were gone within a week.
User avatar #29 to #28 - lacypushupbra (06/18/2013) [-]
What happened to the dickbutt? Was it just left there? Does the city have a soft spot for the world's most favourate abomination of nature?
User avatar #30 to #29 - codyxvasco (06/18/2013) [-]
They all got painted over by a paint that doesn't match the original wall's color.
User avatar #31 to #30 - lacypushupbra (06/18/2013) [-]
I hate that, it's always worse than the graffiti.

Give me a few minutes, it was months ago I saw the story, but I remember the value of the piece that was destroyed was close to £20,000

And that's less money to the public hospitals in a debt crisis because it cost 400 Euro(Europe anyway) to get people to clean that **** up.

Sorry for being that guy, but we need to stop that kind of **** . I'd pay for you guys to have a place to do it but no one has the money.

Cept lex
User avatar #25 to #3 - schneidend (06/18/2013) [-]
They simply shouldn't clean it unless the image is particularly offensive. Like, if somebody creates a beautiful mural of Optimus Prime slam-dunking a basketball in pastel colors, don't touch it, but paint over it if somebody draws a cumming penis or an asshole or whatever.
#40 to #25 - whatacrackinjoke (06/18/2013) [-]
Makes sense, but I think the problem is from having that less than perfect view of the city. Probably going to look like a ******** either way, but people might worry about the impact of graffiti on visitors, etc. (even with a beautiful mural of Optimus Prime slam-dunking a basketball in pastel colours, which would actually be pretty awesome). Plus, defining "offensive". People can get offended at anything.
I really want to see a mural like that now.
User avatar #44 to #40 - schneidend (06/18/2013) [-]
Well, I'm talking about things that are clearly offensive. If somebody just crudely draws dicks or scrawls " ****** " on something with no context, then it's garbage. If somebody paints " ****** " in Times New Roman and adds a trademark symbol at the end, that probably means something.
User avatar #6 to #3 - zombiefied (06/18/2013) [-]
you can buy a bucket of paint for 40 bucks
#10 to #6 - ancel (06/18/2013) [-]
Yes, that's what I do if I see it.

The government however needs to pay for gas, wages, paint, insurance for workers etc.

It costs 400 in Ireland from what i could find out.

User avatar #14 to #3 - swimmingprodigy (06/18/2013) [-]
who says this is a public wall? If it's on a house of apartment building then the owner has to clean it up
User avatar #17 to #14 - lizardnigger (06/18/2013) [-]
There's a place in my city (Nottingham) where people are allowed to do graffiti. It actually keeps the rest of this ******** quite graffiti-free.
