I live in Rhondda, the majority of the streets still look like this. It's really strange how other people would look at the picture and comment on how old everything looks when I could look out the window and see everything almost exactly the same.

Ahhhh Rhondda. Probably the only place behind Ebbw Vale and Port Talbot that I would hate to be in more than Neath. Basically across the whole South Welsh coal belt, we're ******.

yep, all my great grandfathers were miners, and I think one of my grandfathers was at one point. My house is even built on top of the mine they worked in, it's pretty weird.
