I know people are going to hate this.
Star Wars sucks.
I mean, the story is great, it's awesome with the whole space knights and rebellion, but there was a lot of filler of galactic politics and stuff.
And the CGI is kind of bad, if they remade them, keeping the original script (with some boring stuff cut out) then it would be awesome.
As of now it's one of those "Sunday Afternoon Movie" watches that you find on the cheap channels.

And SPIKE

So to sum it up: Cut all the storytelling and just show 2h of battle. Throw in some fancy VFX too to make it look all nice and sparkly huh?

you are the embodiment of low attention span.

Doubtage on the Simpsons one. Dudes kissing other dudes has been a comedy staple since before television. I sincerely doubt it didn't happen for 50 years. It might be that it was the first male kiss by a gay character, but even then the kiss is played for laughs and Karl is only implied to be gay.

Sir Alec Guinness was a real life Jedi he predicted the death of James Dean!

"When Dean introduced himself to British actor Alec Guinness outside the Villa Capri restaurant in Hollywood, he asked him to take a look at his brand new Porsche Spyder. Guinness thought the car appeared 'sinister' and told Dean: "If you get in that car, you will be found dead in it by this time next week." This encounter took place on September 23, 1955, seven days before Dean's death."

As a die hard star wars fan I find myself agreeing with Mr.Guinness.

The story for 4 was decent at best, but it quickly died in episode 5 and only got worse as more movies began to come out. The only reason I kept watching them as they came out was because I was still 8 when Episode I came out in theatres and Star Wars had really cool fight scenes.

As much as I hate the movies though, I find myself loving everything about the expanded universe, especially the Old Republic era and the adventures of the 501st Legion.

It's the same characters, same universe, but George Lucas isn't calling the shots. He's a terrible story teller...

Die hard Star-Wars-fan hating the movies. Wat. That's like saying you absolutely adore Tolkien, but think he was a ****** writer...

Similar to the Alec Guinness one; Patrick Stewart never wanted to play Captain Picard in Star Trek TNG. He only took the role when his agent assured him the show would never get past the first season and he may as well make a quick buck off the series after which he could go back to stage acting like he wanted.

That scene in the simpsons is still a shocker, seeing this guy who's been awesome with homer suddenly kiss him and firing up the imaginations of homer fanfics.

I doubt this **** . "Scaring" their co-workers? How could you possibly scare someone by wearing a Velociraptor suit? What, they'll be like:

"Aww Ooohooo holy crap, Alfred! Didn't see ya in there... thought you were a real one for a moment. Gosh, still got the heebie-jeebies you sneaky fella'!"

******** .

Fun fact, Moffat is ******* over Doctor Who again- he's shuffled it around after Eccleson refused to come back as 9.
Now the guy we met at the end of the most recent episode is 10, Tennant is 11 (and should be 12, too, when he regenerated into his hand in a jar), and Smith is 12 (and should be 13. Making him the last Doctor).

Except what John Hurt's Doctor did was alluded to be evil and so, yes, in the life span you are correct, but he is not a version of The Doctor, but the person, not the name. Also, the BBC axed the 13 life rule ages ago, I think around 9.

And to kruc, I'm pretty sure he left because he didn't care for it anymore, that's why he won't return for the 50th anniversary, annoyingly as he too is one of my favourite actors and doctors!
