********* doesn't fight cancer...

It just dulls the pain of chemo.

There's evidence to say that it does both.

Tommy Chong cured his cancer with nothing but oils dude :p
It has major cancer fighting properties, for example the largest study done on lung function from non smokers, tobbacco, weed. Weed smokers had better lung function than non smokers! links incoming

I think he used something more than cannabis to treat his cancer, just saying. He is not stupid and he probably tried a large number of treatments to cure his cancer.

He didn't do chemo or anything, check out the interviews and do some research on it, you may be surprised :p

Seriously. That´s odd, but I´ll take your word for it. May I see a link to one of those interviews?

heres a gov link supporting the cancer fighting abilities of it www.cancer.gov/cancertopics/pdq/cam/cannabis/healthprofessional/page4
and tommy chong-
"What other treatment are you undergoing?
The cure that I’m really using is water. See, the prostate is down there with the plumbing, and the one thing that one doctor told me when he checked me was that I was water-deficient. He taught me: about four or five big eight-ounce glasses of water every day. The magical cure is water. Also, the thing that really feeds cancer is sugar, so you gotta get rid of it. I don’t eat any sugar. Sugar is the worst thing we have."

Well, in that article clearly says "He is confident in the treatment choices he’s made – which include cannabis – and works assiduously to maintain a positive frame of mind." so no, cannabis isn´t the only treatment he followed

the only other "treatment" was a diet change, drinking large amounts of water and no sugar. he was on estrogen pills for the first little but changed doctors and got rid of them
User avatar #20 to #19 - rapsuskiller (06/17/2013) [-]
The diet he followed is also a treatment, and if hee didn´t do it it would have been a lot harder to get rid of the cancer, but I am amazed by how much cannabis helped him

Statistically speaking Pipe Smokers live 3 years longer than non-smokers.

It's more likely a socioeconomic link between people who can afford pot and people who can afford decent healthcare than it is the ********* itself.
User avatar #4 to #1 - brrigg (06/15/2013) [-]
there's also stories of people going into remission; but then again, stories, ya know?

It has also been said to postpone the lethal effects of certain types of cancer. Including lung cancer, surprisingly.
