1) True - Would be worried if bricks were more expensive than games consoles.
2) Semi-true - DRM will certainly be restricted, but DRM will be decided by game publishers rather than Microsoft or Sony.
3) False - confirmed by Microsoft that they will not implement any extra fees for used games.
4) False - Kinect is controlled by you. You can change how much the Kinect listens or watchs for commands, or you can turn it off completely if you want.
5) True - needs to connect to the internet every 24 hours. No logical explanation as to why.
6) Maybe - unconfirmed, but possible it will be considering Microsoft's previous policies.
7) N/A - complete speculation.
8) False - too big to be a brick, and doesn't have the right structual integrity.

Yeah, but a brick functions as a building material, while I'm sure that XboxOne will function as a gaming console.

LISTEN THE **** UP. Almost everyone on the Internet needs to educate themselves on how Xbox One game licensing works, because while it really is excessively complex, it's not all that bad. You can have 10 users in a "family", and that can be anyone with an xbox. Those 10 people can share their game library with each other for free, and although you can only share with one person at a time, you can still play the games you own while sharing them with someone else. Also, if you buy a disc based game, you can remove the license from your account, and that license can be transferred (but only once) to a new account. You can either give someone else that game (as long as they've been on your friend list for 30 days), trade it digitally for xbox store credit, or sell it at a participating retailer. MS only wants retailers that are going to participate in their program that gives a portion of that sale to the game publishing company. Also, If your friend or uncle gets a new xbox but your "family" is already full, you can still log into your account on his xbox, and play all the games you own, and the ones you're borrowing from others, your friend just can't play them once you sign out. If he wants to play those games when you leave, he would have to pay for a game license. This all explains why you need to do 24 hour authentication, there's a lot of online game sharing going on, they don't want someone using a friend's game,or borrowing a family game, and then just unplugging the Internet and keeping the game indefinitely.

MS has said multiple times that they won't be backing down on these policies, because they promise that users will appreciate them once they understand how they work. I agree, I think it sounds fantastic, and for people with a lot of gamer friends, you're actually gonna have the opportunity to save quite a bit of money using this system.

The Xbox one is like many of us:
without internet access at least once a day, it stops working.
