1. If you jealbreak iPad, there is a tweak that allows multitasking windows

2. iPad 3g has microsd card slot for up to 32 gb

3. You can remove the battery by prying off the glass cover, and unscrewing a few things, but this is pointless since 80% of the iPads mass is battery.

4. It has a front and rear facing camera...

5. 3rd party browsers support flash

6. You can buy refurbished iPads at around 250$. A new iPad price is considerably generous, since there have been a few teardowns of iPads, and all the components inside of it add up to be $320.

You're replying to an outdated picture posted by a guy who probably doesn't care, just posting a funny picture related to the OP. I can guarentee you that any and all of the points you just made will never matter to anyone in a significant way.

So why? Why go full retard and post that where it will never matter?
#225 to #66 - anisbanana (06/22/2013) [-]
Because everyone on funnyjunk is basically sheep or livestock. One famous funnyjunker will say "iPad sucks" and everyone will go with it. Your opinions are controlled by only a few people, and god forbid someone not agree with his or her opinion, everyone turns against you. Funnyjunk, you are sheep.
User avatar #226 to #225 - Relinies ONLINE (06/23/2013) [-]
Let me make this simple.
I disagree with you, at least for myself. I have used Android and iOS tablets/phones. Android is less fluid (which is to say, the animations between windows can stutter on rare occasions), but iOS has much more than this as a problem. Battery cannot be replaced, far less apps are free, and there are far, FAR less choices of iOS products as compared to Android. The worst part is, iOS things cost more on average.
iOS is more simplistic than Android, but Android is able to do more.
Though said famous member may decide that iOS products are worse, people would, for the most part, only agree because they are right.
And let's hear this one again: If you share an opinion that few people like and you don't even do it with some tact, of course you'll be thumbed down! But you know what? Thumbs are an electronic system of finding the best of content and comments as chosen by the community, and have absolutely no meaning to the real world.
People only seem like sheep because they believe that their opinion is correct. In the case of iOS, it can be proven that Android is better, and the only reasons to buy an iOS product would be to show off your money or because you prefer the way the settings and menus are setup to the Android setup. Of course, if I say that, you'll call me a sheep for

tl;dr: You're an idiot, famous funnyjunkers choose popular opinions for themselves, and only other idiots blindly follow them. The majority of people actually agree. And if you really believe the words you're saying, you need to get a reality check.

Well a rock is a rock, a brick is a brick.
What I mean is that a rock is a natural thing that doesn't have any function (if analyzed superficially), while a brick is man made, it has an evident purpose but a rather simple one. So when we see a man made object, that has one basic purpose, and we compare it to another man made object that has a really complex purpose (gaming), and we say they are basically the same thing , THAT has a comedic value. Using a rock just doesn't have the same effect.

TL;DR: It's more funny when its a brick, and I'm probably talking out of my ass.

You'd be surprised actually.

The PS4 has surpassed it for pre-orders on Amazon.

Gamestop is supposedly handing out fliers to educate their customers about the xbone's limitations.

Loads of Gamestop stores are reporting they've sold out on pre-orders for it, and they still have several PS4's left. Sounds bad, but then Gamestop is only taking pre-orders for like 4-10 xbones, whilst they're taking up to like 30 pre-orders for PS4s.

2) Semi-true - DRM will certainly be restricted, but DRM will be decided by game publishers rather than Microsoft or Sony.
3) False - confirmed by Microsoft that they will not implement any extra fees for used games.

Why? Were you planning to build a house out of Xbox One carcasses?
#44 to #24 - leeton (06/15/2013) [-]
5) Since games will be directly linked to your profile, you will not need a cd. Therefore to counteract 5 people playing on the same profile on different consoles, you have to validate that you actually have access to that particular profile.
Personally i dont like to store cd's, as they eventually get broken.
User avatar #45 to #44 - MasterManiac ONLINE (06/15/2013) [-]
I can understand this feature completely, but what I fail to comprehend is why this needs to be checked every 24 hours. Because of game licences being linked to your account you cannot buy, sell or trade games without an internet connection. Therefore surely your games cannot become "invalid", so to speak, while you are offline, so why are the checks still required every 24 hours?
User avatar #49 to #45 - formidableguy (06/15/2013) [-]
its also meant to be a way to combat "chipped" consoles. The mandatory 24 hour thing is meant to ensure no illegal monitoring is going on as well as theother reasons that have been stated.

Im sure the ones who want to mod their xbox will find a way around this issue anyway.
User avatar #73 to #24 - babbysmithy (06/15/2013) [-]
"As we saw above, you will be able install your games to your hard-drive and have your entire library available to play without putting the disc in the disc tray.
This is why the 24-hour check is required. Without this, many copies of the same game could be installed into multiple X1's and it would be absolutely crumble game sales.
The drawback to this is not being able to game offline. Microsoft has said that the final decisions to this issue have not been final. I believe if they allow you to play offline with the disc in the disc tray, this would become a non-issue."

LISTEN THE **** UP. Almost everyone on the Internet needs to educate themselves on how Xbox One game licensing works, because while it really is excessively complex, it's not all that bad. You can have 10 users in a "family", and that can be anyone with an xbox. Those 10 people can share their game library with each other for free, and although you can only share with one person at a time, you can still play the games you own while sharing them with someone else. Also, if you buy a disc based game, you can remove the license from your account, and that license can be transferred (but only once) to a new account. You can either give someone else that game (as long as they've been on your friend list for 30 days), trade it digitally for xbox store credit, or sell it at a participating retailer. MS only wants retailers that are going to participate in their program that gives a portion of that sale to the game publishing company. Also, If your friend or uncle gets a new xbox but your "family" is already full, you can still log into your account on his xbox, and play all the games you own, and the ones you're borrowing from others, your friend just can't play them once you sign out. If he wants to play those games when you leave, he would have to pay for a game license. This all explains why you need to do 24 hour authentication, there's a lot of online game sharing going on, they don't want someone using a friend's game,or borrowing a family game, and then just unplugging the Internet and keeping the game indefinitely.

MS has said multiple times that they won't be backing down on these policies, because they promise that users will appreciate them once they understand how they work. I agree, I think it sounds fantastic, and for people with a lot of gamer friends, you're actually gonna have the opportunity to save quite a bit of money using this system.
User avatar #209 to #185 - thewaronbeingcool (06/15/2013) [-]
Still sounds ******** to me.

A lot of it sounds worse than what we already have, and the only saving grace is the sharing between 10 accounts, which shouldn't require an online connection for the entire console but to just play the shared game.

Publishers can choose to block games being shared.
Indie games need a publisher.

It's a good concept that MS are retarded for not hammering into us during E3 and the reveal, but wait until the feature is actually implemented and then how publishers will work with it, theoretically game sales could fall by 90%, and I don't see EA letting 10 people play a game for the price of one. Devs yes, publishers no. And publishers are mandatory.
User avatar #205 to #185 - kazey (06/15/2013) [-]
If this works how you have described it then its a good idea, but in my personal opinion i feel like they shouldn't have to do this and restrict this market. i had a 360 and argued with PS3 owners day and night on how crap it was but i think this generation playstation has just pinched it.

(thanks for explaning how it works)
User avatar #210 to #205 - drunkasaurus (06/15/2013) [-]
Yes, they shouldn't have to do this, but I'm guessing this was all done at the request of game publishers who believe used game sales and rentals are their largest loss of revenue. The Xbox One DRM is hurting gamestop, gamefly, etc. way more than it's hurting consumers.
