Im fat, I dont care that Im fat. But I hate people that go on to say "You dont look that fat" Fat is fat. Its a medical definition. If I weigh more than my BMI. Its fat.
Dont understand why people factor emoition into it.
"But I dont want to hurt his feelings" go for it, make fatties feel bad and they will get healthy and lose weight. and the fatties like me that say "I couldnt give a **** " dont care because, well we dont. We'll lose weight at some point, but at this point we'll just keep eating tasty mutha ******* food.

Here's the thing though...do people legitimately get more nervous when they see you walking towards the elevator, or are you just a little fat?

You see, because there's a difference between muscle-head, fit, toned, healthy, fluffy, chubby, fat, and DEAR LORD! I'm somewhere between toned and healthy. I used to be between fluffy and chubby. If you're teetering too far towards DEAD LORD, then I'm going to make you feel bad. If you're just a little bit fat...well...I may look down on you, but I understand.

By the way, to everyone, there is such thing as a healthy layer of fat.

6ft, 18stone.
I break a sweat if I wank to hard.

I think im somewhere at the FAT mark you've put. Not at the dear lord stage as my gut doesnt over hang my penis.
User avatar #576 to #573 - lolollo (06/16/2013) [-]
At that point I'd worry because it isn't really until DEAR LORD where you start havong your tripple bypasses at 25. As for me giving you **** for it and you not caring, well...good for you. It's my sincerest belief that people who are endangering themselves, know it, but continue the behavior anyway are simply proving that natural selection still works.
#578 to #576 - sheriffhd (06/16/2013) [-]
Well, if I get that bad, then I hope that My common sense Kicks in. There is a line between just being unhealthy beyond reason, and fat for the sake of being it.

I agree, but I also think that maybe some people are supposed to be a little fat and are healthier that way. If so, losing weight could be unhealthy for them.
User avatar #403 to #8 - alltimetens (06/15/2013) [-]
Go exercise, you fat **** .
#234 to #8 - anon (06/15/2013) [-]
Whereas I agree fat is fat, scientifically the BMI is completely inaccurate and will also call an athlete obese.
#198 to #8 - anon (06/15/2013) [-]
well said but on the same token society avoids many issues due to emotion over facts, such as: the fact that the sexes are obviously not equal and that males are the dominant sex and that it is as nature intended it to be for our species, non-mexican-Mongoloids are the most intelligent and most agile people on earth, Caucasoids are the most empathic and strongest, Negroes are the the most aggressive and fastest, The evidence for intelligent creation is overwhelming and the arguments for circumstance based creation is driven only by loud rhetoric and the fanatical blind faith of its followers, That homosexuality is not how nature actually designed us and can be considered only as a malfunction and more people are making the choice to behave gay based upon exposure to porn and an increase of gay acting stars being portrayed positively in the media, That fluoride is bad for the health of the body and teeth and that the nazis added it to drinking water to promote apathy among prisoners.

you'll keep eating everything and site....and not having sex. i like the way your life is heading!
#187 to #8 - anon (06/15/2013) [-]
The only reason one shouldn't cast obesity in a negative light is that some people arent tough. If you can take the **** and work to lose excess weight, good. but there are some people who will literally lose their goddamned minds and plunge into depression or anorexia or both instead of just thinking "i am unhealthy. i will make life choices to remedy this". its really ******* stupid but those chewed-gum ************* are the only real opposition to calling it as it is

Having heard the term BMI for the first time in my life, I googled it and found a calculator. Since when is ****** imperial considered "standard".
User avatar #431 to #153 - darkshadoww (06/15/2013) [-]
Because that website was created in the motherfucing United States, and that is the standard here. Deal with it.

i agree to a some extent, but BMI really isn't an accurate way to measure bodyfat. if you were to apply to me the BMI measument i would be considered overweight/obese i'm 5'8" and 190-195lbs my bmi is 28.9-29.6. but if you do other means such as what i've done in school(skin fold and hydro-static) my body fat % is between 14 and 18%(no matter the method there is a 2-3% error) which falls into the health/average range of bodyfat

but yes anyone that is fat is simply fat

#137 to #8 - sfagias (06/15/2013) [-]
So much truth. I got a ******** of weight over the course of 2 years and I was not called fat or my friends didn't even say it jokingly, so I completely disregarded the issue. Thank god during summer vacation a friend of mine called me huge while she was drunk. That motivated me enough to completely change my lifestyle.
User avatar #126 to #8 - lolzordz (06/15/2013) [-]
thats the thing, 'ill lose it at some point' never actually comes and you just keep eating cos the habit gets stronger by the day
#108 to #8 - pappathethird (06/15/2013) [-]
I'm sorry. I agree with you and all, this picture just came to mind
#98 to #8 - anon (06/15/2013) [-]
Actually, the BMI is very outdated and not considered medically correct in most places. It is especially inaccurate for anyone over six feet tall.
User avatar #62 to #8 - weenieandthebutt (06/15/2013) [-]
Well as long as you acknowledge it instead of glorifying it and aim to lose weight later at some point in your life. Me getting ripped on constantly at school drove me to lose weight when I was the fat kid. Now I'm going through a phase where my desire in wanting to get laid is spurring me on to bodybuild. Honestly, even when you do lose the weight, you don't need to go on some silly anorexic diet or COMPLETELY cut junk food from your life. You can still enjoy the good things in life and retain a good figure.
User avatar #13 to #8 - cullenatorguy (06/15/2013) [-]
Except a lot of fat people who don't care never lose weight because, well, they don't care.
#17 to #13 - quiescat (06/15/2013) [-]
most fat people do care they just enjoy eating and its costs a ************* arm and a leg to eat good and well by good i mean taste good and well i meed healthy for you

add to that more people skip breakfast then any other meal so by the time they eat that 2000+ calories for lunch and dinner there body is screaming so they eat to much

then there told to help fight the fact that there fat is just work out bro, another massive mistake due their poor diet and bad eating habits are one again kicking them in the teeth, as they go into withdraw from sugar there blood stream is now getting sapped of because muscles they never use are trying to do damage control. so there in pain( they over did it ) there hungry as **** and hey theirs a burger joint **** this ****

< lost about a 100 pound so far from learning how much ******* ******** people try to pass off as a good ideas for loseing weight i just wish i had learned sooner
User avatar #47 to #17 - cullenatorguy (06/15/2013) [-]
Pass on the knowledge, bro. I'm a bit over weight and I need to lose some pounds.
#60 to #47 - anon (06/15/2013) [-]
calories in < calories out.

its that simple. stop eating so much chips, chocolate and fizzy drinks.
User avatar #148 to #60 - cullenatorguy (06/15/2013) [-]
Well yeah. That's basic beyond belief. I already eat pretty healthily.
#158 to #148 - sfagias (06/15/2013) [-]
Try to spread your meals throughout the day. Usually you need to have 5 meals per day so that your metabolism is kept working. Just try to eat healthy and snall meals, like fruit with yogurt for snacks, and balanced meal for lunch/dinner. Try to hit the gym, or if you don't want to go to the gym just try to work out regularly at home and try to do cardio every day. Remember to try and drink water frequently as it can actually help weight loss. It's not easy but if you really want it you can definitely do it!

its late and i am going to bed shortly but i will try to collect my thoughts on the subject and inbox you what worked for me its not complex its just boring as hell
#12 to #8 - therobsorensen (06/15/2013) [-]
Actually BMI is ******** . Every single professional athlete and anyone who hits the gym regularly is "obese" according to it.
#345 to #12 - anon (06/15/2013) [-]
muscles weight more than fat, ******* . its condenst

are you trying to justify your fat by saying atheltes weight a lot, thus meaning your not fat?
#405 to #345 - chairmandrek (06/15/2013) [-]
First, lern2english

Second, bmi is based off of weight and height. So, if you're 5'9" and 225 pounds, you're considered obese. The picture to the left is Alan Barch, who has those dimensions. I wouldn't exactly call him obese -- and if I did -- this "obese" man could kick the living **** out of me.
