Have you ever seen "The Amnistad"? I don't really remember but i don't think the cargo on that ship was much more than 100.

Well the Black Pearl in the movies seem suitable to house what I'd say 20-30 men and I'd say max around the 50 mark, but then again that would be with still good room for everyone so to me 100 slaves doesn't sound all that horrible wrong of a number.
