If these are the only things you hated in high school, then you had an amazing high school experience

I get most of these, but what's wrong with simply wearing headphones? I personally wore headphones all the ******* time because it allowed me to exclude myself from the rest of the world in an instant. Given that knowledge, headphones seem to be the solution to all of the above problems, at least they were for me when I was in highschool.

music made me angry... I get into fights a lot... I WAS THE "BOXER" in high school lolololol

Maybe listen to music you like rather than music that makes you want to hit people? O_o
User avatar #991 to #989 - propanex (06/10/2013) [-]

My friends math teacher plays WoW during class, and my football coach just plays apps on his phone because he's the other math teacher...

Yeah story time! Let me add one.
I lived in a small country town in the south so people there were very religious. Since I didn't go to church I missed out on a lot of the socializing. However I liked high school since I had a lot of great teachers. I payed a lot more attention to the school work though (college is the real place I met new people). My class was ok (a lot of drinking going on but could be worse).
What was crazy was that the valedictorian of the class below us SOLD MATH HOMEWORK. He responded to him cheating on assignments by saying "you people are too stupid to cheat and not get caught. Oh well college is so much better .

well those standardized tests do test how much you learn, they could change them a bit, and give the teachers a more defined curriculum that corresponds to that info they should be teaching kids, but usually if you paid attention in class you'll do fine on those tests.

are schools still rough on freshmen? I always liked the freshmen, and I was friends with a lot of seniors my freshman year...

also, just sayin' if you really want to stick it to the guitar dork, ask him to play his guitar and just totally show off and play a bunch of licks that he can't, like van halen, eruption or something, it'll really shut him up

High school wasn't a great experience for me in general. I didn't graduate on time because I was short a class to graduate. I didn't even go to graduation; I did, however, have an awesome, informal graduation.

By the way, congratulations to everyone who just graduated.

agree on the money grabing schemes....our school gave money to malawi but I rejected to attend as it is against law to let students forced labour for money (except funding..)

so they threaten to give you normal school day, don't give a **** so let them come at me

what really happen that I got a free day off as none of the teachers cared to actuley teach for 1 student

the student who did skip got a letter with 65 eur they "must" pay and teacher keep pestring about it , again illigel but **** it

"it all for a good cause" right? yeah, it turns out that the last batch of money sent last year where never heard for or seen from again just assumtion what it was used on...no reciept, no follow up on over 10000 eur just sent to someone they not could care more....as long as it public said " we sending money to malawi!"

I was one of those tall and super tall guys in freshman year, around 5'11'' but looked really skinny. Little did everyone know that under my uniform I had the body of a guy who had been playing football, basketball, and running track since around 3rd grade, so I was just extremely toned. During Orientation that summer, one of the teachers actually warned me that the seniors actually DID perform freshman initiation on kids they thought would actually take it, and told me to do something about it or suffer for a long while.

TLDR, Hit that bastard in the face with your lunch tray. You might get your ass beat, but it is worth it down the road.

5'11" is super tall? we though the guys that were 5'11" in my class were short...
that's kinda crazy that some highschools still do the freshmen initiation thing, I always thought that it was kinda lame

Oh and incase you use metric I meant feet/inches.
#953 to #952 - harleyzone (06/09/2013) [-]
yeah, I dunno, maybe that's how tall I was in my freshman year... I'm 6'2", but I had a big growth spurt in highschool, so I dunno..
#963 to #953 - jazzyietheferret (06/09/2013) [-]
Oh wow, I guess people in your area just must be taller in general. The average full grown height around here is about 5'8".
#979 to #963 - harleyzone (06/10/2013) [-]
holy crap, I mean, I'm pretty tall up here, but most guys up here are around 5'11"
I guess people in seattle are just taller, maybe it's the coffee...
#951 to #948 - jazzyietheferret (06/09/2013) [-]
yea, 5'11' in freshman year when I was 14, and yea...some high schools still did it, not sure about now though. It's been a few years since I graduated.

There are three things that ******* annoy me. THREE:

1) The time you are taking a test and the class begins sniffing and snorting.

2) Those retarded classmates that do unsanitary things in class (picking their nose, sucking their thumb, picking their ear until it bleeds, etc.)

3) Those damn ******* that do nothing in class but talk and laugh when the rest of the class is trying to focus on a movie/listening to the teacher.
#949 to #932 - harleyzone (06/09/2013) [-]
*guy in class who sniffed a lot sometimes because of childhood sinus issues*
-I got over it in highschool, when I sat next to someone who had the same issue, and you're right it's annoying as ****

I was homeschooled.......
