I was really sceptical but it really works on Windows 7.

For anyone wondering, it creates a folder full of shortcuts to various system options that you can also find in control panel

Actually, its not pokeballs that shake 3 times and then open that give me trust issues, its when I find "tips" on the internet and everyone in the comment section says something different.

It does work. I found it to be a great way to familiarize myself with the new OS (Vista) back in '07. Great for learning. I haven't had any problems with it, but I'd recommend everyone set a restore point before proceeding. Wiki article below.

I knew right away this post would forecast a ********* , with a chance of ************** . What it boils down to is that this exposes every form in the control panel, allowing the user to bypass having to drill down several levels from the CP. There are some claims that it may crash IE, but who cares? Why are you using IE? This mod makes a great educational tool for those who like to crack out on computer tweaks. As always, use with great caution.
#427 to #420 - anonymous (06/05/2013) [-]
it doesn't crash internet explorer, it crashes windows explorer. not related to web surfing -_-' but that's only if it's not compatible
#433 to #427 - throwspooatmonkeys (06/05/2013) [-]
You beat me to the reply.

I thought the claims about EI were dubious. There are MANY reports of explorer.exe choking on accessing CP items in this way. x64 machines are affected, and I'm led to believe that hardware is the issue; this is a debugging feature, and little attention was paid to kernel debugging during it's design.

Or you can just change the Control Panel to show icons instead for the same result.

looking at the comments and they say this is pure cancer for your computer...

is this content an attack from another website like 4chan?
#407 to #400 - anonymous (06/05/2013) [-]
no it just has some issues with certain 64 bit os. it'll make your windows explorer crash over and over again if it's not compatible. while its annoying if it happens, it's not the end of the world. it can be removed using the CMD.

for those wondering, this is what happens to the folder.

although i haven't used it yet, it looks like it can come in handy.

Nobody likes the Macs but they handle high-end gaming extremely well. Pic related, I bet the majority of PC's can't run games as advanced as pong.
