So are there any ugly girls with horrible personalities or it is you're either beautiful and are **** to people or ugly as **** and nice?
User avatar #111 to #11 - BubsyB (06/04/2013) [-]
I know plenty of Ugly females with horrible personalities, still sort of nice but you wouldn't want to hang around them because they're ****** up.

A coach of mine once told me: "If you want people to still like you, you can be mean or you can be ugly, but you can't be both."

Anyone can look beautiful (to an extent). Beauty is an outward thing, that does take time and knowledge to accomplish. Same with personalities, accept it's inward.
Those who take time to look nice I think deserve it. Those who have gone through the ordeals to have a "good personality" deserve respect too.

a lot of fat chicks are very entitled. Not being mean or anything, but a good percentage of fat chicks I know have a horrible personality.
User avatar #199 to #95 - rocksteady (06/09/2013) [-]
A lot of fat chicks aren't just entitled, they think they are as attractive as every other chick. There is a girl in my college class who is the size of a blimp, and when her boyfriend cheated on her with a normal sized decent looking girl, she honestly believed she looked better then her.

Unfortunately very sexy women like the one above can go their whole lives without constructive criticism. This is know as "Being inside the bubble." and it can lead to an awful, offensive, undeveloped, and crude personality. The person in the bubble will never know though, their looks will prevent anyone from popping the bubble.
User avatar #94 to #14 - rieskimo (06/04/2013) [-]
Conversely people who grew up as "ugly" or "plain" did receive criticism/had to develop a personality in order to make friends. Then you have people like Aisha Tyler or Felicia Day who grew up dorky/homely and had to develop a personality and then also developed into hot awesome women.
#189 to #94 - anon (06/04/2013) [-]
I grew up in the categories of ugly and plain and have been unable to form a personality because I was raised not being allowed to make friends. (extremely racist parents in a town with basically just us being white. I have successfully been able to make friends as an adult and am only slightly more awkward around black people than I am other people because of an irrational fear of them perceiving me as racist just for being white, which in itself makes me feel like I am racist and sad) So now I'm plain without any real personality besides what I've been able to leech off my acquaintances to appear normal. I'm fairly certain I'm a borderline sociopath because of it. If you ever find a plain looking person with no personality then they might just be a sociopath so it would be best to stay away from them.

Hey man, don't put too much stress on yourself. I know it's easy for me to say but it is really as simple as that. The hard part is finding peace in yourself. I was abused all throughout my childhood and that mixed with some extreme poverty lead me to be a very bitter and anti-social child. I didn't trust anybody and wouldn't let anybody in(I didn't even hug my mom) until I was well into my preteen years(I didn't make my first real friend until I was about 13). That awkward "what will everybody think" or "everybody is just going to make fun of me" feeling is really just what you are putting on you. So give yourself a break and become more reactive. Let loose and try and enjoy the people around you. Yeah, there are going to be assholes(there always are) but just think to yourself that they have to live with themselves and you don't. Personality is really just people knowing what they like and defining themselves as the person they want to be. Share your interests, people will respond to that. As for race, that's kind of a sticky situation for all of us and how we've been raised(some more than others). Don't let your family and your past dominate you, let you shine. People respond positively to you owning yourself. After you let yourself breath it's just a matter of finding propriety boundaries, you'll trip and fall just pick yourself back up again.

Good luck man.

It's not a theory, it's basic Sociology.

I didn't say this happens to every attractive woman, but it does happen to some attractive women for the reasons listed above.

It's Sociology not Psychology you idiot.

It has already been proven effectively by George Herbert Mead's research.

"For a start, your theory would be "basic psychology" "

Cute, you are ignoring that when you tried to correct someone with underlines and quotes, that you were dead wrong and looked stupid.

Mead had a theory but it is considered proven, its now taught as fact.

Psychology pertains to the study of the human mind, whereas Sociology pertains to learning human behavior.

I love how wrong you are, and are making up text book quotes and nonsense to try to dig your way out of being so wrong, cute.

Common' admit it you never knew of mead until I said his name, then you just goggled him. Yeah, I know.

So how do we know this is Sociology well for starters this man had his findings published in a Sociology text book by John. J. Macionis, which is taught in a level 3000 Sociology med class, while his work nicknamed the looking glass pertaining to our little subject rewarded him the title of being one of the most influential Sociologists.

Sorry kiddo, but you're the " ******* dumbass." I almost feel bad for you that you got this embarrassed.

Oh and when meads work went from the theoretical approach to thestrictiral-functional approach it then had to go through the positivist sociology which of course breaks down into the sub evidence of empirical evidence and science. Which of course all of meads work did now making his old theories accepted as facts of human nature.

Oh you sure take the " ******* dumbass" award today. This is too fun little buddy.

I have the book Society by John J, Macionis Which has a full explanation on the matter. I would be happy to teach you about this; however, first we need establish a few things, so I know you are actually absorbing this.

You need to say:

That this was retarded make-believe ******** - Not really, it even says in my psychology textbook that his theory is a psychological theory. Cute, you say "cute" when you've ran out of things to say and want to put down the other person.

That this is again some dumbass **** - For a start, your theory would be "basic psychology" Secondly, it's a theory because you have no way of proving this effectively, we just have to rely on your knowledge/past experiences.

Oh and that obviously you didnt read this in you imaginary text book - I've read about George Herbert Mead, his theory comes under the psychological category of behaviourism.

Do that and I will be happy to take the time to teach you the entire chapter on the matter if you like, don't and I realize you are just having a mental break down because you are wrong about something.

Many girls who come of as mean while fat and ugly are fighting a battle in their head that's not really happening.

example: "He thinks I'm gross and is looking down at me well I'll just blow him off then!" "Out of my way jerk, I'm in a hurry."

According to funnyjunk it is. But why would you trust someone who's only learning for what peoples or the internet says ?

Of course i get it, that's a joke. But by overusing it you're just giving yourself a reason to be a coward. Still not everyone, but some of us are like this.

Red thumbs if you like, so more people will see what i said.
