Initially thought you were referencing that kick-ass scene in the Final Fantasy "III" (actually was 6, but called III here) where Kefka goes all manmode on the three statue's balance.

The **** do you mean no one cares about Rayman? This dude WAS my childhood, more than Mario or Sonic. Every one of the main games felt special to me, with some of my all time favourite game music and great visuals.

Rayman One was ******* hardcore. I pumped hours into that game as a kid and felt genuine pride at beating some of the trickier levels. The bright vibrancy of the level designs set it apart in my mind from most other 2D platformers.

Rayman 2 was pretty much about slavery and ******* Robopirates! It was the first ever PS1 game I owned and in a way helped me meet one of my best friends, because we both loved that ******* game.

Rayman 3 was about industrialisation, the destruction of nature and corruption and had some of best ******* level designs I think I've seen in any game. The entire game felt like an epic journey through varied worlds and ancient temples, the land of lost souls, cursed swamps, to a hellish barren and flame bitten landscape where the indestructible demons dwelt below the sands. The game played more of a part in my childhood than any over game ever did.

So I don't want to here anyone saying that no one cares about Rayman, because you know what? I ******* care.

Dude, no one franchise "WAS" your childhood. You are "WAY" over exaggerating. I'm not saying that the game is bad, but I know you did not only play those three games your entire childhood.

Fine, I'll admit I was over exaggerating, but it still made me slightly sad that people stopped giving a **** about Rayman, when he was probably my favourite character as a kid. And these three games were easily the games that consumed most of my early gaming life, so they were the "majority" of my early "video-game playing" aspect of my childhood. Hope that improves that for you

Yeah, but now that it's all about the rabbids, it's like he doesn't even exist anymore.
