I love how everyone's saying "He meant a real job you degenerate ******* !" Wherever this dude is working is a real job. He doesn't get paid in ******* monopoly money. As long as he's happy and can support himself, why the **** do you care? Not everyone wants to sit in a cubicle making 6 figures a year.

I've known multiple people who worked out of cubicles and made six figures. Also cubicle, desk, office, whatever. You sit on your ass. The VAST majority of high-paying jobs involve an obscene amount of paperwork, and many of them are nothing but paperwork. That's all fine and dandy if you really really liked school and enjoy being hunched over a desk for most of your life, but personally I'd rather be struggling to get by doing something I enjoy.

Thats fair enough, the world wouldn't run if everyone wanted a desk job. It doesn't however make a desk job inherantly inferior. I spend hours every day at a desk, of sorts, but I'm an engineer and get to design all sorts of things which I love.

That's great if you're doing something you enjoy. I just hate the social stigma that hands-on jobs are inferior. I'm working towards becoming a dog trainer, and that job pays maybe 30k a year. I don't want to make a lot of money, I just want to work with animals, yet I'm the ******* disgrace of the family because I dropped out of college to follow a dream.
