in ‘Forever’ Wayne says 'Let the KING talk, check the price and pay attention” Eminem in ‘Not Afraid’ says “You said you was KING you lied through your TEETH, so for that **** your FILLINGS instead of getting crowned your getting capped.”
#319 to #41 - Rascal (05/28/2013) [-]
Also, in "Forever," Lil Wayne says, "I'm resting in the lead, I need a pillow and a cover." Then, in Drop the World ft Eminem, Em says, "Sleep on me? That pillow is where your head will lie. Permanently, bitch it's beddie bye."

Can't believe i never noticed the play on teeth
filling, crowns, caps
oh god i feel stupid.

Honestly I think Eminem is one of the best rappers of all time and is obviously incredibly smart. Pick apart the lyrics to a lot of his songs and you'll notice some really clever or really deep stuff
User avatar #145 to #99 - ixcarnifexxi (05/27/2013) [-]
Yea really clever being.... What, whining about his wife leaving him for 15 years? Cause he can't grow balls and admit he had a drug problem, was an abusive husband and father? Yea deep meanings, man
User avatar #182 to #145 - mushrooooms (05/27/2013) [-]
true for part of that, except hes a good father. hes still raising them isnt he? he loves them, even if Elena isnt his.
User avatar #204 to #182 - hektoroftroy (05/27/2013) [-]
Technically Whitney isn't either but he still loves them.
He's a good father, I wish i can be that good of a dad when (if) I have kids
User avatar #188 to #145 - ultimatebadass (05/27/2013) [-]
He admits on a regular basis he had a drug problem, and did when he had one too, also his wife kim after cutting herself over the song "Kim" still said hes the best father shes ever seen in an interview, when she hated his guts. You obviously don't know what you're talking about man. So some research before you hate, and also when i do listen deeply to his lyrics theres **** i notice even on my 300th time listening and thats what makes him so good
User avatar #218 to #188 - ixcarnifexxi (05/27/2013) [-]
I'll admit he is good, but I've just heard too much of his whiny music to really appreciate him anymore. I mean even rappers like Immortal Technique rap for a cause. The only Eminem song I can think of that had cause to it was MOSH; the song he wrote just after 9/11 I think? I apologize for bashing him, I mean he is good at what he does, he just needs new/different material.
User avatar #394 to #218 - ultimatebadass (05/31/2013) [-]
glad you listen to immortal tech tho, I respect that hes ****** sick! maryr all the way
User avatar #228 to #218 - hektoroftroy (05/27/2013) [-]
No offence, but you're being pretty whiny yourself right now
User avatar #230 to #228 - ixcarnifexxi (05/27/2013) [-]
At least I'm not exploiting it to get rich and famous and bring up **** that happened 20 years ago.
User avatar #233 to #230 - hektoroftroy (05/27/2013) [-]
Ok that's fair. But most of his stuff has nothing to do with stuff that happened twenty years ago, unless it was written that long ago.
User avatar #241 to #99 - matriculator (05/27/2013) [-]
Actually, he's good, but compared to a lot of Underground rappers like Immortal Technique for example, he's okay I guess. I'm an avid rap fan, I mostly listen to underground rap. People like Beast 1333, Nas, Brother Ali etc...
#249 to #241 - fuckmedia (05/27/2013) [-]
Ahhh, you beat me too it., I wanted to mention Immortal Technique...
#308 to #99 - Visual (05/28/2013) [-]
I also have to say Macklemore isn't too far behind with some of his more serious stuff. I like his music.
User avatar #354 to #308 - hektoroftroy (05/28/2013) [-]
Mah ***** .
I'm from the Seattle area and i've liked Macklemore since long before he got on the radio but i don't like to mention him because people think i'm just spouting hipster ******** .
But anyways yeah he's really good too, especially when you consider all his songs have vastly different sounds thanks to Ryan Lewis, whereas Eminem has a pretty uniform sound to his songs
User avatar #257 to #99 - theafroman (05/27/2013) [-]
Real deep **** man. "Shove a gerbil in your ass through a tube! Shove a gerbil in your ass through a tube! Shove a gerbil in your ass through a tube! Shove a gerbil in your ass through a tube!"
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy his music, and he's a good lyricist, but about half his songs are like this.
User avatar #266 to #257 - hektoroftroy (05/27/2013) [-]
I like that he can have some deep stuff and then have some really funny **** too
#113 to #99 - rawklawbster (05/27/2013) [-]
Deep as can be
User avatar #226 to #113 - surrealbowl (05/27/2013) [-]
Only now have I registered that doing (the onomatopoeia) and doing (the present tense do) are spelt the same. Thanks puppet Eminem.

He's the only rapper who can successfully go from rapping about his daughter, to homosexuals, to doing Vicodin within 10 seconds of a song.

k Stein... go dissect Lil' Wayne for me, please?
User avatar #32 - reaperssprint (05/27/2013) [-]
Actually Lil Wayne wouldn't be in that category. He was one of the rappers that didn't give Eminem a load of **** because he was a white rapper when he started. You just assume he includes Lil Wayne because you dislike him.

"Maybe he (Eminem) is scared to do business with the best (in reference to himself)"

Please tell me more about how he didn't give Eminem a load of **** .

He was a white rapper when he started... But what is he now?

Michael Jackson on opposite day?
User avatar #331 to #250 - reaperssprint (05/28/2013) [-]
Don't be an asshole. You know what I meant, I just derped up my sentence order.
User avatar #300 to #32 - gorginhanson (05/27/2013) [-]
So eminem used to be white when he started?

The more you know
#72 to #32 - trolli (05/27/2013) [-]
Lil Wayne was still ******** his pants when eminem started.
User avatar #148 to #72 - ryanmck (05/27/2013) [-]
They actually started at similar times. Lil Wayne was signed to Cash Money records from the age of 9 (1991) and began getting a lot recognition and fame still by the late 90s which is when Eminem's first album Infinite came out (1996) so not that big a difference. Honestly Lil wayne used to be a really talented lyricist (for the most part he always had his moments of terrible lyrics that made no sense but people liked regardless) but now 90% of his lyrics are **** yet he somehow makes more money than ever before.
User avatar #186 to #72 - jajathezombie (05/27/2013) [-]
And he'll probably still be ******** them when eminem retires. Your point?

Lil Wayne is horrible and though Eminem is one of the greatest rappers who ever lived, he isn't as great as he was before he dyed his hair.
User avatar #312 to #215 - lulurare (05/28/2013) [-]
Listen to Difficult, You're Never Over, Beautiful, Deja Vu, Going Through Changes, all of those were good songs that he put out after he dyed his hair.
User avatar #248 to #215 - xxhunterxx (05/27/2013) [-]

totally agree

Before you judge something, you should actually know the inside story. I'm guessing you're not a fan of hip hop cause the diss couldn't get any clearer.

That's not talent. You can call Lil' Wayne a 'stupid talentless twat who doesn't understand any form of logical music' word for word straight to his face and he still won't notice.

User avatar #247 to #31 - theafroman (05/27/2013) [-]
I would imagine so. Even if you said that, he'd probably be like "Cool story bro. Now i'm gonna go roll in my millions of dollars, lol"
User avatar #70 - OsamaBinLadenz (05/27/2013) [-]
Eminem's one of the best lyricists out there. He could probably say he'd **** your mother, but you'd have to analyze the words he used to figure it out.
#267 - Mynameismario (05/27/2013) [-]
"Lil wayne is **** ."
"Lil wayne is retarded."

Lil wayne is also a multi-millionaire and is the head of his record label.
Fair enough you guys can talk **** about him, but he isn't stupid.
The real stupid ones are the ones that fall for his 'act' and buy into his **** .
User avatar #303 to #267 - holycrapimacupcake (05/27/2013) [-]
I just hate his music. I respect the man, not the music.

I don't understand why people even waste their time obsessing about how "talentless and stupid" Lil Wayne is, it's not like he's gunna be any less famous, make any less money, or even take the slightest notice at all of your attempts at bashing him.
