As ****** up as it is, most people around the world treat bus drivers as personal slaves that deserve to be whipped.

Haha that's so true you mad cunt!

Reminds me of this time when me and my wanker mates were on the bus back from Wexford. We went to go touch the electric fence for the craic and were on the way home.
So we were bored on the bus and started singing The Wild Rover, and we just got to the part where it's like 'And Its No Neigh Never! *clap clap clap clap* No neigh never no more...' and my only sober friend (he was on anti-biotics cos the flat 7-up didn't work), realised that we needed to study for the Leaving the next day, but I wasn't worried cos my nanny lit a candle at mass for me!

Was a great day and we thanked the driver and got off the bus and had a few scoops when we got back!

Anyway, can't talk all day!
Bye bye, bye, bye,bye... right. Bye. Bye....Bye.

There's always at least 1-4 people on every bus ride that thanks the driver here in Canada

Sad.

You seem to have a very poor understanding of how the Union works, and the world for that matter. Sorry kid it is nothing like your conservative conspiracy nut folks portray it as. Come back when you're serious.

User avatar #35 to #33 - darthblam (05/25/2013) [-]
It wasn't as much as "We kicked their ass 'cuz we got freedoms" as much as it was more Britain was just " **** it, this ****** little colony isn't worth it, leave 'em to rot."
Honestly, I think if Britain REALLY wanted the land they probably could have kept it..
User avatar #51 to #35 - turdburgalar (05/25/2013) [-]
You're hilarious.
User avatar #66 to #35 - nebraksa corn (05/25/2013) [-]
Thats cute. BUT actually, the Colonies were really important to them. It's also funny that you mention that if they really wanted to take over the us at the time, they would've. Well Britain at the end of the Revolutionary war had to divert the military to continental Europe and had to do so until Napoleon was defeated in 1814. Well what was going on at the same time? War of 1812. SO with the main british forces no longer needed in Europe, they sent three invasion armies to Baltimore, New York, and New Orleans. They were all stopped.
User avatar #72 to #66 - nebraksa corn (05/25/2013) [-]
And before any of you say "Washington D.C. was taken, blah blah blah". The defense of Washington D.C. resulted in British casualities being one dead, three wounded, and the commanders horse being shot from under him. The Americans lost George Washington's grand nephew who charged the British army alone, because it is said he was pissed off for being forced into the British Navy. Other than that, the brits burned a few buildings and were chased out by a hurricane before they could do anymore damage, which ended up putting out the fires.
User avatar #74 to #72 - nebraksa corn (05/25/2013) [-]
oh and the brits killed 30 of their own men and wounded 44 in the process of blowing up a gunpowder store at an abandoned fort. I'd have to say it wasn't really a win for anybody, more of a loss for the two side.
