I am sure he is sick of it and all he can see is the flaws he couldn't fix.

His face when they announce sequel.

It took him two years as he had do redo it after smashing his computer.

We don't know whether it's a male or a female, though.
In this case 'they' refers to 1 person of unknown gender.
#112 to #73 - John Cena (05/19/2013) [-]
Let's be honest - chances that it was female are pretty slim.

Techinically, if it's one person, you can't use "they." You can elect to use "the person," or something like that in this situation.
User avatar #94 to #92 - strelokkk (05/19/2013) [-]
I used once the singular "they" in English class (I'm not in an English-speaking country so it's very basic stuff) and the teacher told me "no ! it's impossible blah blah you can't use they if there's only one person". I had an argument with her, because I've read (many times through books, video games, Internet...) "they" referring to a single person whose gender is undefined. She stayed on her point, but I can not trust her (I often correct her because she doesn't speak perfectly and thus make many grammar mistakes, but she never appreciate it... which I understand, but I don't really give a **** since she dislikes me and I share this feeling about her...)

User avatar #96 to #94 - strelokkk (05/19/2013) [-]
Sorry I forgot to explain my point, which is :

I'm not quite sure whether or not it is "grammatically correct" to use the singular they, but everyone does it, so it doesn't sound weird to me, and I'm perfectly fine with it
#102 to #96 - John Cena (05/19/2013) [-]
Get out of here Stalker.
User avatar #95 to #92 - mikelan (05/19/2013) [-]
There is still an ongoing debate about whether or not using the 'singular they' is grammatically acceptable. However, it has been used by famous writers back in 1400.
And it's not that big of an issue anyways; the sentence is still perfectly readable.

But yes, technically it is not (yet) a correct usage of the word 'they'.
User avatar #148 to #95 - hektoroftroy (05/19/2013) [-]
i always use "they" to indicate a singular person of no specified gender, and all my friends always get confused even though a majority of people i know use it that way.
english sucks man
User avatar #149 to #148 - mikelan (05/19/2013) [-]
I'm lucky I learned it at such a young age. Most of my classmates really struggle to grasp the complicated grammar of the English language.
User avatar #150 to #149 - hektoroftroy (05/19/2013) [-]
Then again, most American adults seem to not have a very firm grasp on the English language either.

Makes sense. If you're going to be spending the majority of the game looking at Batman's backside, it better look ******* top.

Have you even SEEN the cape!? Truly, i only bought the game because my friend had it and he was all like "Dude his cape is so awesome"
#129 - supersaiyajin (05/19/2013) [-]
At first I read it as "one person went to work wearing nothing but batman's cape"

i don't think i saw a single clipping issue once. it landed on things like tables and chairs and it flowed across them, or was brushed aside, never went through things, who ever worked on it did an amazing job

User avatar #36 - akkere (05/19/2013) [-]
That was some pretty damn impressive cape physics.

Plus the cape is actually a big part of Batman's costume in more ways than people realize. Bruce Wayne specifically designed the costume to be made a figure that would put some intense fear in the crooks he was going to be fighting, and that cape was supposed to be the primary delivery.

Capes are super cool.
