Thanks but I already know what a heron is, as well as both the meanings for the word heroine, I was just saying that I read it as heroine the first couple of times and it didn't make any sense

No....... a Heron is an animal...... Heroine is both a drug and the female version of a hero.

Heroin is a drug, whereas a heroine is a female hero.
