Lately these days I've been seeing really funny comments and laughing. I then look at the username, and it's always you. Why are you so funny? Are you a comedian? I can't seem to get rid of you. You plague me, and now I'm sad.

The A&F guy isn't retarded, he just doesn't want to glorify being fat. He's actually the only one who isn't tiptoeing around the issue.

BEING FAT IS JUST AS UNHEALTHY AS SMOKING.

That is all.

Since when selling plus size clothes is glorifying being fat???
Tons of thinks are unhealthy. Being thin isn't necessarily healthy. He just doesn't wanna make plus size clothes because he doesn't like how fat people looks, not because is unhealthy.

There is no actual evidence connecting weight to health. Take John Pinnette for example, the man is like 350 pounds and healthy as a horse. Being fat doesn't kill you, but the same things that cause fat (greasy/unhealthy junk food) can give you high cholesterol and diabetes; correlation =/= causation.

The biggest difference between being fat and smoking is that your overweight just harms yourself, whilst smoking harms others in your vicinity. I'm pretty tired of the two always being compared as 'equally bad' when they are not.

Unsold A&F clothing gets burned rather than donated to the homeless because he believes the homeless will ruin his company's looks. If the unfortunate were to wear his clothes then they wouldn't be cool anymore.

Oh I don't doubt that for a second. There are just a bunch of reasons for hating the A&F guy right now:
1. It's the popular thing right now. Just like with Kony, everyone is focusing their hate on one person while atrocities happen everywhere. At least there is a focus on something instead of complete ignorance.
2. He is publicly displaying his douchebaggery with pride. We all know there are tons of assholes in this world, but most at least keep it to themselves instead of flaunting it.
3. People like to laugh because of the irony. He is ugly as ****.
4. Also, it's Abercrombie and Fitch. It's not what millionaires wear. It's what upper-middle class teenagers think is cool. The owner thinks too highly of his own company. There are many "cooler" brands out there.

I think his message was dickish, especially the way he said it. He said he only wants cool kids wearing his clothes, implying that fat people can't be cool. In my high school there were a couple guys who were fat and they knew it; they didn't try to hide it or sugarcoat it (pardon the pun). They were hilarious and actually made fun of their fatness and everyone loved em anyway

It's true that humans have a huge problem with being overweight that is detrimental to healthcare and the world food supply, but that's really not the point. The point is that the guy is an unbearable prick about it, and isn't leading the campaign for health purposes. He's leading it because he's arrogant. Just saying.

How the **** do you have so many thumbs? I completely disagree with your comment, I think the guy is an inconsiderate scumbag and I don't see how that many people agree with you. A lot of people are born fat because it's in their genes, they were born with an endomorph body type. Sure, they could find a way to lose the weight but it would be ridiculously challenging. Other people just straight up like to eat, what's wrong with that? It might be unhealthy for them, but it's not hurting anyone else and they already have a huge amount of insecurity to deal with. This Abercrombie dude just shattered a bunch of people's self esteem and you're defending him. ********.

Also, I'm 5'11 and weigh 135 so don't think I'm some overweight kid who's all butthurt.

though he did say both fat people and ugly people shouldn't be in his clothes. It's not just something people are inferring. In fact I believe I remember him saying something about facial symmetry.

Also he is specifically against people of certain income levels being able to purchase A&F clothes. In fact he even kept his prices at their normal high level through the 2008 market crash, causing his potential customer base to decrease even further. His strategies haven't exactly resulted in too much success either.

TL;DR he's definitely an asshole, just not for making clothes only for the physically fit.

But if EA or Activision make a DLC or Online Pass that's about $8 or $10, everybody flips their ****.

You're paying for a logo, it's not uncommon, plus A&F clothing didn't become popular for no reason, they do tend to be higher quality (not saying one way or the other if the quality alone justifies the price of some of their products). Also, their men's t-shirts start at about 15$ and go up to only about 40$ at most with graphics. A plain t-shirt from them will only cost you about an average of 20-30$.

it doesn't get higher quality than good 100% cotton shirt; quality of a shirt only goes to a certain point, they just double the threads and sand their shirts so they are fuzzier(softer)

They're overpriced but as I said, you pay for a logo. Hollister for example is owned by A&F, it's a cheaper alternative (albeit targeted towards teens more than anything) made with the same standards as the parent company's clothing but without the same logo, those shirts cost 30$ a the top of the chart, most of them are about 15-20$.
