So while everyone is making penis size jokes, would anyone like actually talk about their vehicles? Like trucks, cars, motorcycles, scooters, ect?

2013 Kia Optima 2.0L i4 Turbo, pack around 274 HP and 275 Pounds of torque at the crank, around 230 HP at the wheel while still maintaining a 820 clicks on a full tank and a avg of 8.6L/100 km (Canada eh?) city/highway combined.

Always loved turbocharged i4, had a subaru wrx 2008 and a dodge dart 1.6T 2011 before, just love these engines, I also had a 2009 Sierra wich I sold to my brother, V6 aren't for me, too thristy of an engine.

You win one internet for a hell of a car, best in show my Canadian friend. How is the fuel economy, unlike a lot of Americans, I'm very familiar with the metric system due to the fact that I've been out of the country plenty of times.

the fuel economy is around 8.6 litres over 100 kilometers.

That's about what my Honda gets, but you have a bit more horses under the hood than I. I have a little 2000 Accord with V-tec, it's probably pumping 200 HP. I also just realized you posted you L/100 Km in your first comment.

1990 Ford F-350. 7.3L IDI Diesel engine(Ford makes it, International shakes it), 5-speed manual transmission...and really, this picture does it so much justice. Up close the paint is just trashed. But hey, it was cheap, it runs, and let's face it, if I get into an accident, who cares?
User avatar #176 to #121 - Jewssassin (05/17/2013) [-]
I love manuals in full size or bigger trucks, havent gotten to drive one yet. Hows the clutch?
User avatar #179 to #176 - captfuckhead (05/18/2013) [-]
Fried. I may have overloaded it a wee bit during a cross-state move. She chugged along perfectly until we started hitting the hillcountry....she made it to the front yard of our new home and that was it.

But, to answer your question, it has a hydraulic clutch, so it's not as heavy as you'd expect. Easy in, easy out of gears.

That's about right than. You can't expect to much out of a v8, especially in the city. If it's doing worse than it used to, just check your air filter, spark-plugs, and clean your sensors. You should get a mpg or two more, and it'll just make your car perform better.
User avatar #97 to #96 - Jewssassin (05/16/2013) [-]
I need to replace my air filter but I just did my distributor cap/rotor and spark plugs and I clean out the throttle body every now and then.
I know its what it should be getting but thats not going to stop me from bitching about it.

Im looking to store my Wagon at my buddies farm and get a Tercel Wagon with a 5 speed for the time being. Mostly for the gas mileage and the Toyota Goodness.
User avatar #112 to #108 - manofbeardliness (05/17/2013) [-]
So I'm guessing you like station wagons a lot? I'd get a honda crx, the older ones get like 40hw, and cost a nickel. I have a 2000 accord, soo I'm sort of a fan boy so to speak. Toyota makes a hell of a vehicle as well, my first vehicle was an 03 tacoma.
User avatar #119 to #112 - Jewssassin (05/17/2013) [-]
I fell in love with Wagons when I was young.
Honestly after have a few Hondas on my lift I dont really want one, they are built quiet odd but they are nice cars.
Im actually a Toyota Tech, and a bit of a a fan boy.
A plus to the Tercel wagon is that is AWD and can hilariously off-road.
#167 to #119 - manofbeardliness (05/17/2013) [-]

Nah, it already had clearance for 285's stock and some, I added the leveling kit with 3' up front 2' in the back. I've measured everything out, and it should fit. If not I'll just space it out a tad, and if that doesn't work I'll **** myself, sell the tires, and buy some nicer 285's. Really the ones I'm ordering are 34 inch more or less.

Just bought a 2013 Mustang GT Premium with a 5.0 Coyote 4 valve engine. 420HP, 6 speed manual, I absolutely love the thing. Under 30k too since they just launched the 2014's which are identical.
User avatar #89 to #63 - manofbeardliness (05/16/2013) [-]
The 5.0 is an 8 cyl, not going to judge whether you read the sticker to tell me this because you could've done a lot worse and gotten a v6 mustang. Which is like owning a Solstice.
#124 to #89 - anezay (05/17/2013) [-]
Yeah @manofbeardliness , Im pretty aware of what a V8 is, this is my 3rd Mustang, I had a 2002 SVT Cobra and a 2005 Whippled GT which were both 4.6L V8 engines, the GT a 3 valve, the SVT a 4. And yeah, @filipnocd I've read everything in the manual about the car when I picked it up.
