I'm going to assume you're in the US for the sake of the explanation. You know the people you see outside during tax season that wear the statue of liberty costumes for Liberty taxes? It's like that. They're advertisement.

Shops and restaurants in Japan can be very agressive. If you look up at one, sometimes someone from the shop will run over and drag you in forcibly. These girls appear to be from a maid cafe, so it's kind of like they're advertising.

Honestly, I don't know. I assume that it would be the worst possible thing you could do. It is Japan, after all, and hospitality as well as accepting hospitality is very important. I think it would be like if you were at someone's house and they offered you something, and you just got up and left, saying that they were disgusting and boring, and that your other friend had better stuff.

Yeah, Japan is pretty crazy. Although, according to my International Relations teacher who used to be a reporter, the Japanese are covert racists. His favorite method was to get people drunk and ask them questions. Apperently the Japanese are pissed over losing the war. Also, China is the them as Mexico is to the US.

Only recently, I found out that you can actually "enter" some buildings via Google Street View. I found some strange café/restaurant in which all the waitresses were dressed as French maids... that's awesome and ridiculous at the same time...

and they were all dressed as these RE girls in uniform and weapons, there was even an event where a big Nemisis guy was behind glass suddenly all went dark and it really looked like he was about to break out and there was panic and the waitresses in uniform told us to pick up the pistols and fire on the glass so it wont break out, to kill it and there was smoke and all that and really scary effecfts

that is some hella good theme cafe =D

Oh, I see you're also from Germany. I just found some pretty awesome stores via Street View around Akihabara. Selling classic video games and consoles (like the really old Nintendo stuff) extremely cheap. So I guess you're right... spending a lot of money there might happen quite quickly – but it'll also be totally worth it.

Yes, exactly. I mean... in that one shop in Akihabara I just saw price tags for several games that are extremely overpriced here. Over there you can get those for about 5-7 € each. You can't get those for under 25-30 € here. (Also not to mention all the cheap DVD sets, eroges, etc. that don't even get released here.) I bet you had a huge bag full of great stuff with you on your way back, right?

i accidentally ended up in a eroge shop and looked around, then i liked the music that was playing in the background and so actually ended up buying the store music lol. 3 trance/hardcore cd's for 1400Yen that like 10€ lol and that music is nice. but the store had no more music playing haha cuz that was the one and only cd they had xD

well the next tday they had other music running but i thought it was funny.
