She didn't become a human to make everyone else happy, SHE wanted to be a human. She just happened to fall in love with the prince after she was pretty much decided on the matter. If it wasn't him it would have been another human boy.

But you may go back on the choices we make, and sometimes we're never the same

It specifically says changing to fit society. She never did that. She changed to fit what she thought was herself.

Maybe she wanted just to fit in society? A new life? Bah, I haven't watched it for ages, sorry if I'm wrong

No, I've recently watched it, and SHE wanted to be human. Just because the witch used her love for Eric doesn't mean that that was Ariel's sole reason for becoming human. She sings about dancing, and fires, and books, and is obsessed with human items. She wanted both the prince and to be human. She didn't change for anyone but her.

But we can still go back on the choice we make? She may have wanted to be human, then found out how horrible it is to live on land

The second movie suggests that she didn't regret it. She had a daughter named Melody who wanted to be a mermaid, remember? And Ariel tried to keep her from it, to protect her.

I was completely obsessed with the little mermaid, my mom even made me a mermaid tail that I'd never take off.
Anyway, yeah, there's a second movie.

And there was a pinball game for the second movie. It was a pretty fun game for the GB Color.

I personally liked it. Plus it gave me ample opportunity to beat the crap out of Flotsam and Jetsam.

Interesting. You're the first person who has told me that.
I didn't like them because of how competent those two were.
Seriously, those two were really good at their jobs and they're supposed to be henchmen.

Yep, but I also had a weird thing for snakes and stuff. I liked how they moved. They seemed graceful. Dunno why I liked that.
