Although very illogical, I know the basic reasoning behind why women do this **** .
Many women have low self esteem or confidence in themselves when it comes to relationships or loving someone. They say or do things (like fishing for compliments) that would give their man an easy way to compliment them and make them feel pretty or worth something to him. Since they didn't get the love or discipline they needed in childhood (usually from the father), their version of 'talking' or letting you know something is wrong is by immediately acting on it. She is trying to be passionate but show she is strong at the same time. Her fears from her childhood have made her angry in adulthood. She may also do things like this because she is already suspicious of you [cheating], or something else. This also adds to her insecurities and fears, and her inabilities to tackle them head on.
There's also the women who believe that your dreams are trying to tell you something, and while I think that is true, dreams mainly tell you things about yourself, and rarely show you anything about the future. They dream about their fears, and are just so anxious to find out if it's true or not.
They don't understand that men don't quite work the same way they do.
Very hypocritical and illogical yes, but it's a defensive technique.

As a woman, I'm getting more and more annoyed at seeing this types of comics who makes fun at women for being irrational angry bitches. I am not like that. At all. I value truth, rationality and kindness to others. However, I can't deny that we live in a society that vilify men on women violence while tolerating (and even encouraging) women on men violence. I am not offended by this, since being offended on the internet is kind of moot, I am just sadden by the reality that a lot of women are like that and that both gender end up suffering for it.
