Also, baby koalas aren't born with the bacteria to digest the leaves so they have to eat their mom's poop to colonize their colon so they don't starve once they leave the pouch.

They're high the entire time they are awake and they also sleep for 22 hours a day, which means their dreams are more reality than their reality. So there.

I used all there, their, they're and they are is this post so FJ knows how it's done.

It's not enough to have a significant effect, especially since they would build tolerance their entire lives.

but if they are drunk their whole lives, how would they know anything different so it would actually just be normal for them

Funny because I thought Koala's were lazy because Eucalyptus leaves have almost no protein or anything in them to give Koala's energy, meaning they eat a ton and sleep a ton to keep the energy use down?
#31 to #23 - tyraxio (05/15/2013) [-]
Except sleeping burns a fairly decent amount of calories. Surely, not as much as running or even walking, but sitting still burns less calories than sleeping.

You could be right about the sleeping, but it's definitely not because of the "Drugs" in the trees.

I have never claimed so.
User avatar #40 to #39 - expectation (05/15/2013) [-]
Yep. never said you did. Just saying this post is wrong.
#41 to #40 - tyraxio (05/15/2013) [-]
Possibly. But just to correct you, protein does not give you energy. Only carbohydrates do, which all leaves by definition are stuffed with.
User avatar #52 to #41 - expectation (05/15/2013) [-]
"proteins - Or anything"
and those leaves aren't. That's why they're bad sources for Koalas. Koalas have adapted to eat them.
