You can smoke a cigar for 2:30 hours?
User avatar #271 to #54 - Keidis (05/10/2013) [-]
I actually smoked a cigar for an hour and a half just ************ with my cousins for his grad party. **** was fancy!

I occasionally smoke swishers, and if I have the time for an event, I'll smoke a full cigar.
#71 to #54 - redtooth (05/10/2013) [-]
I, for one, would enjoy smoking a cigar for 2:30 hours. Just kick back, enjoy the sunset and the cigar.

Ah, such is nature. All the nicest things have a negative backlash as well.
#251 to #101 - anon (05/10/2013) [-]
You're not supposed to inhale when you smoke a cigar, so...
User avatar #279 to #251 - gnillort (05/10/2013) [-]
it's still harmful. you can get mouth and throat cancers even if you don't inhale. and just being around a lit cigar is second hand smoke, so they're unhealthy in that respect as well.
User avatar #283 to #279 - gnillort (05/10/2013) [-]
not to mention, the nicotine in the tobacco is still in your blood stream through pores in your mouth. so cigars are addictive as well. it's just more difficult to get addicted to that way.

I smoke cigars, particularly at house parties when people come and go having their cigerettes. I'll be smoking my corona for an hour and a bit, generally, talking to the people and they come and go.

You feel absolutely grim afterwards, but they're goddamn tasty.
#74 to #54 - anon (05/10/2013) [-]
You don't have to smoke it in one session.
User avatar #130 to #74 - mrhaihoang (05/10/2013) [-]
uh no, when you put it off and ligt it up again, it tastes like ****
User avatar #183 to #130 - traelos (05/10/2013) [-]
I had a friend milk a black and mild for like 3 hours over a few sessions once.

But then again, black and milds taste like **** on a good day.
#243 to #183 - anon (05/10/2013) [-]
Wood tipped vanilla black and milds are really good. Also black and milds are hardly even cigars. You can inhale with them because they are just wrapped pipe tobacco.
User avatar #247 to #243 - traelos (05/10/2013) [-]
You don't really want to inhale pipe tobacco either.
User avatar #276 to #247 - gnillort (05/10/2013) [-]
I do for a strong buzz when I'm high.
User avatar #287 to #276 - traelos (05/10/2013) [-]
Meh, nothing wrong with that.
User avatar #289 to #287 - gnillort (05/10/2013) [-]
yeah, plus I like to do a lot of smoke tricks, so sometimes it's unavoidable to inhale it when I'm doing things like ghosts and french inhales.

First of all, the best music comes from asia. I can't be the only one who thinks that. Second of all, why would I be jelly that you used to own us? We kicked ass in that fight, and you guys were forced to give up. Also, in a country founded on the principle of no royalty, that would hardly be something I am jealous of. I guess most everything else makes since though. But of course, when you guys become the world's leading superpower you can say whatever you want I guess. Until then, I'm not jelly of much

1st your wrong and more people agree with me
2nd because you never had an empire and it was more the french that made us think it wasn't worth it
3rd our royalty doesn't do anything theyre i just cool and do funny stuff
4th you wont be the worlds leading superpower for long and we were a while back so if americans stop acting like their the best when china becomes the best then ill shut up and not say whatever i want
#314 to #313 - onceapiece (05/18/2013) [-]
But America has something China doesn't have. CORN. And freedom. Any system that relies on humans is more effective if people actually enjoy what they are doing. It's rare to find that in communist countries, since they get paid so little. China won't get to where America is unless America gets worse. Also, One Direction came from your nation. Best music my ass

They really aren't. You could walk into any smoke shop knowing absolutely nothing and ask the guy at the counter for a good one and he'll probably give you a pretty good one.

they are still complicated, just because someone makes it easier does not make them less complicated,

Swishers are my favorite because they're cheap and easy to stuff full of marijuana
User avatar #95 to #16 - doigboiger (05/10/2013) [-]
Why would you stuff marijuana in a cigar? You don't inhale cigar smoke... seems like an awful waste of weed.
User avatar #113 to #95 - fivebecomesfours (05/10/2013) [-]
You empty out the tobacco first.
User avatar #114 to #113 - doigboiger (05/10/2013) [-]
Well then it's a waste of the cigar... just roll a j man
#238 to #114 - anon (05/10/2013) [-]
J's are a waste of bud... Get a Dutch Masters Vanilla, gut it, empty out the tobacco, roll yourself a blunt, and that bitch will last you much longer than a J. And they don't have all the excess material that a blunt wrap has, they're the perfect rolling size.
User avatar #186 to #114 - cocorosie (05/10/2013) [-]
Or just buy a tobacco wrap without the tobacco and roll a blunt.
User avatar #262 to #186 - caelinnis (05/10/2013) [-]
Swishers are 79 cents, zig-zags are a $1.

Here in Reno, there's a gas station that sells them 5 2-packs for a dollar because he says his boss doesn't like him.
User avatar #119 to #114 - fivebecomesfours (05/10/2013) [-]
Well in the comment he was talking about swishers, at most places like gas stations or mimi marts they're only like .89 cents for a cheap swisher/flavored cigar. Not really a big deal aha. I just buy blunt wraps, cause swishers are for people who don't know how to roll xD
User avatar #22 to #16 - therealtjthemedic (05/10/2013) [-]
I just grow marijuana and pack cheap ass cigarettes with it and sell them.

Or forget cigars, and smoke a pipe. Pipe tobacco is almost always better, just don't buy the packaged crap at a convenience store. Get your ass to a respectable smoke shop and see what blends they have on stock.

>didn't even read the image

You don't inhale cigar smoke. It was right there in the infogram.
#248 to #153 - anon (05/10/2013) [-]
Actually since you are not ment to inhale cigar smoke it presents significantly lower risk of cancer. It presents the same risks as smokeless tobacco but to a lesser degree. So why it still does present the risk of cancer the risk is low relative to other tobacco products.

It's due to the trade embargo on Cuba in the U.S.
You couldn't get anything made in cuba, not just cigars.

User avatar #53 to #51 - Kalder (05/10/2013) [-]
its a stupid trade embargo thats been in place for too many years, no one really cares enough to get rid of it
plus cuban cigars are not always the best anyway, they just hold that stigma because they are illegal. Some really really good cigars come from the Dominican Republic
User avatar #56 to #53 - sachonebeef (05/10/2013) [-]
That sucks balls. Wasn't that enforced during like the Bay of Pigs/Missile Crisis kind of time?
User avatar #57 to #56 - Kalder (05/10/2013) [-]
1962 is when a full embargo was placed, it is slowly going away though, maybe by 2062 we will have full open trade again
User avatar #59 to #57 - secretdestroyers (05/10/2013) [-]
Well, any president can lift it whenever they want, they just have to do it during their second term when they have very little to lose. Florida's a big swing state that's full of old Cuban refugees from the 60s who are, understandably, anti-Castro and who make up a good portion of the state's voting population.

Not the type of people to piss off if you want to get reelected. But, now that Obama's done just that he can lift the embargo.....sometime soon would be nice!

I don't know. I smoke cigars from time to time and i use a zippo. Although one of the last cigars i smoked "Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real" came with a cedar strip that i light my cigar with.

I don't seem to notice a taste either way if i light my cigar with clean butane (not a Bic), cedar, wooden matches, paper matches, or a Zippo.

User avatar #260 to #250 - kenocaster (05/10/2013) [-]
yeah the fluid changes the taste, and those butane torch lighters are bad too, it starts the burn to hot and ruins the taste. Big ol kitchen matches are the best way to go.
