Clearly you know very little about English tea standards.

I bet you odious cretins leave your bags in the tea as well.

That assumes population and immigration rates stay the same. I'd like to think the poor countries people emigrate from would be better by then.

Actually, the American accent is much more accurate to the "original" English accent than that of the British. So technically Americans speak English - Brits speak English with a British dialect.

Actually, when America was colonized, they had their current accent. British changed sometime in the early 1800s.
#213 to #172 - golbot (05/09/2013) [-]
That's actually correct. Words like "yonder" or "skillet" that southern Americans use are actually 17th century English words. So in all reality, the American southern accent is actually just the way British people talked in the 1600's. They just evolved their accent since then.

History FTW
#14 to #2 - andytang (05/09/2013) [-]
Actually the american is the original english. British english became popular during the 17th and 18th century.

Technically, American English has changed the least from the time of the American Revolution. English people began pronouncing the words so ******* weird because they wanted to sound more "proper."

English people cannot speak the language incorrectly.
We can all start speaking with a completely different dialect and using new words tomorrow, and it will become the correct way to speak the language. English people living in England decide how the "correct" way to speak the language is.

SCOTLAND ENGLAND NORTHERN IRELAND WALES IS THE UNITED KINGDOM NOT JUST ENGLAND.

#140 to #138 - restfullwicked (05/09/2013) [-]
yea but its not. its part of Britain, not the united kingdom.
User avatar #143 to #140 - mutzaki (05/09/2013) [-]
No, Wales is part of The United Kingdom, as The UK partially consists of the entire island Great Britain. You might be mixing things up.
#146 to #143 - restfullwicked (05/09/2013) [-]
no im not. Wales hasnt been a kingdom for almost a thousand years. that means that when the english monarch came to rule over every kingdom of britain, wales wasn't one of them because it is the same kingdom as England. So again. Wales is not part of the United Kingdoms because it is not a kingdom of itself.
the full title that we hardly use anymore is the United Kingdoms of Great Britain, Scotland, and Northern Ireland.
Wales has never been included in the title because it is not a kingdom.
#180 to #146 - anon (05/09/2013) [-]
Oh man you are so off on so many levels, I suspect you are trolling
User avatar #159 to #146 - mutzaki (05/09/2013) [-]
The official title is actually The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. It's funny, because your misinformed title doesn't make sense to have "...of Great Britain, Scotland..." seeing as how Scotland is part of Great Britain. You see, that title would mean that Scotland isn't part of Great Britain, but still the UK, but that's only the case of N. Ireland.
Wales joined up with England in a union, which was the beginning of the UK.
