at the risk of sounding pretentious, i dont think the majority of this site understands that joke, as most of them only watch the show and not read the books, but still my good man, a thumb for you.
User avatar #13 to #12 - KayRed (05/08/2013) [-]
The joke was for those amazing few who have read the books.

well, i am one of those. unfortunately i never have the cash to buy hardcover copies of books so i cant buy book 5 until it comes out in pocket sized paperback in october. (i did rent the book from the library though)
User avatar #15 to #14 - KayRed (05/08/2013) [-]
Could always buy the ebook version. Probably not as cheap as paperback, but at release (and currently) it is cheaper than hard cover.
#16 to #15 - artaisiousx (05/08/2013) [-]

Do I know you?
User avatar #24 to #23 - KayRed (05/08/2013) [-]
Yeah, it seems like everytime I make a comment about Game of Thrones, you comment on it.

It's one of my favorite series.
User avatar #37 to #36 - KayRed (05/09/2013) [-]
As it is mine. Maybe I'll reread them all again this summer, now that I actually have time to read things I want to read.
User avatar #38 to #37 - Mebeshe (05/09/2013) [-]
I'm reading the Kingkiller Chronicle right now. It's really good. It's about this guy named Kvothe, and his life story.
User avatar #39 to #38 - KayRed (05/09/2013) [-]
I've read about 3/4 of the first book, it was one of the slowest books I've ever read. I would have slogged through it, but I discovered aSoIaF, so I abandoned it.

Recently I've been continuing the Wheel of Time series, though I did finish the first Mistborn book and Ender's Game not too long ago.
User avatar #40 to #39 - Mebeshe (05/09/2013) [-]
I haven't read the Mistborn books yet. I'm really enjoying Kvothe. As an ex-actor I think we get along well.
User avatar #41 to #40 - KayRed (05/09/2013) [-]
Does the pace quicken? I think I was at the part where he meets that girl at that college place.
User avatar #42 to #41 - Mebeshe (05/09/2013) [-]
You have get out of the university for the pace to quicken, but a lot of important things happen there; namely, Ambrose.
User avatar #43 to #42 - KayRed (05/09/2013) [-]
I have no idea who that is, so I guess I stopped too early.
User avatar #44 to #43 - Mebeshe (05/09/2013) [-]
The school bully. Ambrose is a rich asshole who hates Kvothe because Kvothe respects women and keeps being an ass to Ambrose. Kvothe one dropped a pound of rancid butter down Ambrose's chimney.
User avatar #45 to #44 - KayRed (05/09/2013) [-]
Oh, I think I remember him, the guy that works at the library, right?
User avatar #46 to #45 - Mebeshe (05/09/2013) [-]
Yeah, that dick.
User avatar #47 to #46 - KayRed (05/09/2013) [-]
You should read the mistborn trilogy after that.
User avatar #48 to #47 - Mebeshe (05/10/2013) [-]
It does sound good.

Okay for all you tards who are saying OP ruined some great twist for you

Did you miss the part where Roose Bolton was sending his bastard after Theon?
Or how another character says 'You bastard' right before Ramsay kills him?
Or how the X Theon is hanging on is literally the House Bolton sigil?

His identity should be obvious to anyone who has been paying attention.
#31 - Laurenboo (05/08/2013) [-]
When i was reading the books i had to literally stop reading for about a week because i felt so sorry/sick for Theon.
User avatar #1 - ZeGerman ONLINE (05/07/2013) [-]
The last episode scared the hell out of me. Ramsay Bolton is a crazy mofo.
User avatar #29 to #1 - lyiat ONLINE (05/08/2013) [-]
Snow. He's a bastard, he doesn't get his father's last name.
User avatar #33 to #29 - ZeGerman ONLINE (05/08/2013) [-]
Have you read the books? ^^

"Ah, but you didn't ask if I was a liar!" And then pulls the ******* skin off his pinky, I want this character to evolve but knowing GoT, he's dead soon.
#34 to #26 - incavis (05/08/2013) [-]
I ******* love him.
User avatar #30 - dantemp (05/08/2013) [-]
Dumb ***** , you can't last for 10 seconds without releasing a huge smelly spoiler out of your asses. **** you. Good thing I've read the book and know what's happening.
User avatar #7 - jimmdean ONLINE (05/08/2013) [-]
They said his name in the episode? Or are you getting it from the book.
User avatar #21 to #7 - Bova (05/08/2013) [-]
He's clearly Roose's bastard son, he mentioned him last season going after Theon, Theon is propped up on the house sigil, the soldiers call him a bastard (which is more of a factual insult than what we commonly use today) and if you look closely the actors look surprisingly alike.
#28 - trevanman ONLINE (05/08/2013) [-]
I thought the guy who captured Jaime was Ramsay.
I just found out the dude was called Locke. My mind has been blown. I've been living a lie the past few weeks.
