Imagine how different the game would be if you listened to the old lady.

I played the **** out of that game. A while into my first playthrough I decided to run Yuna through Auron's path of the sphere grid to get more strength for my aeons. Ended up mostly using her basic melee attack - seeing her run up to people and hit 99.999 damage with a wack of her staff was hilarious.

Yeah, definitely recommend it, it's super fun. You have to get a staff that can break the 9,999 damage limit though, but that's not too hard. I'd recommend going for her legendary staff, since it's pretty easy to obtain (if you haven't heard about the legendary weapons, you can read about em here: You need to login to view this link

I've beat the game about 4 times so far but I have never even thought about making Yuna a melee character. I have only went and got the legendary weapons on my last playthrough a year ago though, the game is long as hell if you try doing it with the Brotherhood sword the whole game like I did.

Stacking up her strength is extremely awesome. If you go the extra mile and get the Anima and Magus Sisters aeons, you'll rip just about anything to shreds (Anima's override is like 18x99.999 damage and the sisters' even more, if memory serves).

I normally get all the aeons but didn't worry about the weapons because of how much of a pain in the ass most of them were to get especially Tidus and Lulu's

Ugh, Lulu's was a pain. Never completed it. The ones I completed were Yuna's, Tidus' (I probably spent like 5 hours or more racing chocobos), Auron's, Kimahri's (damn those butterflies were a pain), and Rikku's. I tried completing Wakka's as well, but I was never any good at blitzball, so I never finished it.

To me, the Blitzball was the easiest other than Rikku's because after you get the Jecht Shot or Jecht Shot Mk. II you can easily knock away multiple defenders and if you are close enough, the goalie to score almost every single time you attempt it.

That game would've been a lot better without Tidus, so goddam annoying.

Voice acting is a tad awkward at times, other than that, he's good

His voice is the most annoying thing really, and the monologue

Was that sarcasm? I'm terrible at detecting it, so I'll just clarify anyway... looks like Final Fantasy X.
