If you bring me $70+ worth of food to my table, but you're a dick about it, you're not getting a tip. I don't care how many times you went back and forth for me.

But what if he's a dick about it because you have a reputation for sending waiters back and forth a lot then not tipping?

Doesn't change the fact that fetching things for customers is a waiter's JOB. It IS what they get paid for. I know the wages are low, so THAT'S why you have to smile, and be a good employee so you can GET decent tips. If you do a good job, people will tip you well. It's all about how you present yourself.

Everyone expects to be able to act how they want and then bitch about what happens.

a tip is a reward for doing a good job and being nice about it
its a bonus not something to be expected or demended
its an expression of thanks if it is mandetory or i don't want to thank you because you weren't good/nice about your job you aren't getting a tip

left an 11% tip. most people leave 4 or less. good for you. i personally try to leave at least 20%, but not everyone can afford that.

i leave 20% no matter what. its a stressful job as is.

My family and I usually tip pretty well, point in case, 5 dollar tip for a 20 dollar meal.

It's good he used a clever sense of humor to cover the fact that he's a ******* douche. Who tips 12% when eating at a restaurant?

Yes, because 26.86 plus pi is actually exactly 30.00.

No, but rounded to the nearest hundredth place it is. Who the **** is going to tip a fraction of a cent?
Quit being so conceited.
