If you think the bottom of our ocean is terrifying, just image the oceans of other planets.
The creatures at the bottom of our ocean are already mysterious, alien, and horrifying. And they've been evolving alongside us undisturbed for thousands of years.

Now image the the same case, but millions of light years away. Where Cthulhu and Krakens pale in comparison to this nightmares.

And no stop for a minute and think and realize that we're working on going to these planets.

Image our far off descendants riding a boat on some alien world and colossal tentacles shoot out of waters while an eye lid the size of a city opens just underneath the water and they're quickly dragged or inhaled into the depths. This is an actual possibility.

That may be true but what about the other side of it all.

Our far off descendants may also be riding a boat on a lake when suddenly, they encounter a tropical marshmallow storm! We'll just never know

just imagine a planet that is literally a giant ball of water, a ******* water planet, that would be so cool, i dont think it can be completely water though, the core would have to be some sort of iron or something.

It's not technically a planet, but there are giant pockets of water floating in space.
I doubt anything could live in them, but who know? Space whales could actually exist.

But we don't know how to use wormholes so we can't travel millions of light years...
User avatar #123 to #122 - UberAndrew (05/03/2013) [-]
That's why I said far off descendants.
We don't know how to use them now, but give it some time. We'll be zipping across the universe in no time.
