A 17 day old duck egg that's matured to the point where the embryo is mostly formed, but still boneless and featherless

I once tried fermented egg (100 year old egg) In a chinese food shop in Bulgaria. It wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be, but it tasted like ****.

That sounds absolutely atrocious...if it tasted like ****, that's about rock bottom....lamb brains and eyeballs aren't half bad, once you get over the fact you're eating them

Haha it's the worst part, like a cellophane wrapped grape, if the cellophane was porous and the whole thing was soggy

It's a mushy ******* grape on the inside then :P And to be honest, I could never eat brains. Just the feel of them is horrible, let alone the texture in my mouth.

It's chicken period until it's been fertilized.
So fertilized eggs are indeed boneless chicken.

depends on your thought of when that developing zygote can be considered a chicken i.e. I dont consider the zygote to be a chicken/chick because it has not matured enough.

no the egg cannot be considered a chicken due to the fact that fertilization has not occurred thus is still merely a haploid gametic cell rather than an embryo trust me im a biochem major

Well you cannot determine whether the egg is fertilized or not from just the picture. I was just assuming the egg was fertilized. Either way, I wouldn't consider it a chicken at this phase because the eggs, fertilized or not, do not look old enough by just their outer appearance. I took ap biology which covered avian reproduction and fertilization in enough depth.

A teacher at the school I volunteer at raised some chicks for her class as a project and one of the chicks was born with it's insides formed outside of it's body. It was still alive ad peeping and waddling around. Since I'm a medical student and work in the healthcare field, she called me in and asked me to fix the chick. I mean, what?
